Proof Princess Beatrice’s Boyfriend Isn’t In It For Her Money
When you’re one of the British royal family, you have to be careful who you let into your inner circle. It doesn’t matter if its friends, extended family, or a life partner — every new person you bring in can pose a risk. One of the biggest concerns is definitely information leaks. The last thing you want is the public getting a hold of information that isn’t meant for their consumption. That being said, it’s no surprise that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex laid down the law with their new nanny.
Another big problem is finding true love. After all, marrying one of the British royals is probably high up on many people’s bucket lists. The problem — it wouldn’t be for love, it would be for status or cash flow. Thankfully Princess Beatrice’s new beau has already passed the test!
Who is Princess Beatrice?
Princess Beatrice, better known as the forgotten Princess of York, is one of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren. She’s the daughter of Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, to be exact. Due to her lineage and personality, Princess Beatrice has managed to live the majority of her life out of the spotlight. In fact, as a non-working royal, Princess Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie are generally seen as less important.
What’s a nonworking royal? The Princesses’ cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry, are working royals. They live out their lives representing the Queen and are paid to do so. On the other hand, Princess Beatrice has a regular job, just like the rest of us.
While this may be a point of contention between her father and the rest of the higher-ups in the family, it’s worked out just fine for the Princess. After all, her shy personality means she would have had a tough time in her cousin’s shoes!
How did Princess Beatrice meet Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi?
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzie mostly run in the same circles. Mozzi’s stepdad, Christopher Shale, was a British political operative who just so happened to be close friends with the former prime minister, David Cameron. When he passed away in 2011, both Princess Beatrice and Mozzi were present. Oh, and he also happens to have a bit of blue blood running through his veins.
His father and his mother’s first hubby was Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi. That connection may have been precisely what he needed to get him on Princess Beatrice’s level.
Their time spent together wasn’t all bad though. They also crossed paths at a beautiful wedding in Puglia, Italy back in 2013. It’s unclear just how close the two were at the time. On the other hand, The Sun reports that they didn’t meet until the fall of last year. Perhaps they just didn’t get better acquainted in more casual circumstances until then.
Mozzi doesn’t need Princess Beatrice’s money
The young entrepreneur is the mastermind behind the high-end real estate firm, Banda. Founded in 2007, the firm focuses on finding and developing abodes for the wealthiest of clients. Mozzi has been the acting CEO since the very beginning and his wallet backs up that fact. The young blue blood, at just 34-years-old, is already a multi-millionaire. Princess Beatrice’s lineage aside, Mozzi might actually be worth more than she is!
The Princess acquired her BA in History from Goldsmiths and focuses her energy into consulting and finance. She used to work for the venture capital firm Sandbridge and eventually switched things up at the software company Afiniti.
Her work as a nonworking royal has resulted in the forgotten Princess amassing a net worth of around $4.6 million, an amount, while impressive, is probably less than that of her new beau.
