Candiace Dillard responds like her mother in disagreements

On the last episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, Dillard took her mother to therapy with her to work on their communication. Dillard is frustrated with her mom because she feels she constantly interrupts her when she doesn’t agree with something Dillard is saying. Additionally, her mother flat out denies any wrongdoing and rarely accepts guilt.

When Samuels previously brought up how Dillard acts like her mother, Dillard got upset and walked out. She did the same thing on Season 4 Episode 10 with her husband, Chris Bassett. He followed her out to her car and tried to explain why he feels like Dillard responds like her mother. However, she refused to listen to him, kept interrupting, and claimed his hypothesis was incorrect.

‘RHOP’ ladies react to Michael Darby’s sexual assault case

When the news of Michael Darby’s sexual assault lawsuit broke, Gizelle Bryant called Robyn Dixon, Samuels Facetimed Dillard, and someone sent Karen Huger a text message. The show also aired footage of Wendy Williams and other news outlets reporting the case. Allegedly, a cameraman is suing Darby for groping his butt. Samuels told Dillard this happened the same day as her rainbow shower, and that the case is criminal, not civil. Dillard only had one thing to say in the confessional: “I told you so.”

Bryant then called Ashley Darby to make sure she was doing okay. Darby, who was shopping with Rost at the time, at first acted like she didn’t know what Bryant was talking about. Then, she calmly told Bryant a judge already threw the case out, and everything’s fine. However, in Darby’s confessional, she admitted she didn’t know all the details, but finds the situation “troubling.”

The ladies have a showdown at the hoedown

Rost invited the Real Housewives of Potomac for a hoedown at her farm in Season 4 Episode 10. Darby and Bryant rode together, and she apologized for instigating the fight at Dillard’s house. Even though Darby does recognize that Bryant brought it up, she still puts the blame on Dixon who could have said nothing.

Although Dixon doesn’t fully believe she was wrong, Bryant didn’t either; she also apologized to Darby for her participation in the blowout. Samuels admitted to Dillard before the hoedown that she disagreed with how Dillard handled the circumstance. However, Dillard didn’t appreciate a close friend judging her for a mistake.

While the ladies had lunch, Dillard told Darby that at some point they needed to have a conversation and clear the air between them. Darby then brought up her husband’s allegations, only to say that she couldn’t say anything. Some of the women, especially Dixon, took offense to this because they believe Darby gets into everyone else’s business, so it’s only right for her to spill her own tea.

Towards the end of lunch, Huger tried to talk to Darby, but Darby claimed Huger is two-faced because she applauded Dillard for attacking her. Huger then turned the responsibility on Bryant for inviting Darby back in the house, after Dillard kicked her out. Samuels then expressed her feelings towards the entire situation, and she and Dillard went head to head as Samuels proclaimed she would “stomp her while pregnant.”
