‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Star, Candiace Dillard, Accuses This Co-Star of Blocking a Career Opportunity
Filming of season 5 of Real Housewives of Potomac is underway and there’s not been a premiere date released but that hasn’t stopped its stars from making headlines. The feud between Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels is at an all-time high. The two former friends allegedly got into a physical altercation which resulted in a lawsuit and now Dillard’s accusing Samuels of sabotaging her career.

‘RHOP’ Candice Dillard says co-star Monique Samuels sabotaged her performance
Fans of Real Housewives of Potomac have heard Dillard’s singing ability throughout her time on the show. She’s ready to make her dreams of singing a reality. The reality star released her first single on digital platforms earlier this year and was also gearing up for a live performance at an upcoming sports event.
Dillard was scheduled to perform the National Anthem on Saturday, November 16 for the Washington Fusion vs Chicago Vikings game for the Global Mixed Gender Basketball League. Late Saturday evening, Dillard took to her Instagram page and announced that her scheduled performance was pulled from the event’s program. She alleges that Samuels played a part in having her removed.
She wrote, in part, “For my beautiful followers who were prepared to celebrate with me at the @washingtonfusion game as I perform the #NationalAnthem, I regret that I must inform you all: I will not be able to perform on Saturday. This turn of events and my removal from the program by @sweetcookie100 by way of #moniquesammuels is for the fulfillment of a personal vendetta over one’s own indiscretions.”
It’s unclear who the woman Dillard is that was tagged in the post, but it’s clear that she manages the event program in some way. Though the woman’s Instagram page is private, Samuels does follow the page of @sweetcookie100.
