Revealed: Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau’s Wedding Date Is Coming Up Fast
They announced their wedding date during a recent appearance — and it’s coming up quicker than you probably expected.
They revealed the date in a sweet way
According to Entertainment Tonight, the announcement came on July 13 while Mongeau participated in a Q&A session at VidCon, which is a celebration of digital video and online creators. As she answered questions, Paul popped up on the stage, telling Mongeau that he had a “surprise” for her.
As it turns out, he’d written her an emotional poem, in which he revealed that they will wed on July 28.
The poem opened with Paul reflecting on the day they met before delving into their relationship. “Welcome to the Paul family, we welcome you with love. From the moment I met you, we fit like a glove,” he said.
“Logan and Bella can hate,” Jake continued, referencing his brother, Logan Paul, and Mongeau’s ex-girlfriend, Bella Thorne. “The world can question our fate, but on July 28, you can all save the date.”
Aww! Well, get ready. It looks like their big day will be here in just a matter of days.
Mongeau said the wedding will be phenomenal
Following the announcement, Mongeau confirmed the wedding date, but she admitted that they’re still planning the ceremony.
“Should I just get married naked?” she said when a fan asked what she plans on wearing to the wedding.
“All the wedding details will come in due time, but I promise no one is ready for it,” she continued. “We are really lucky to have a team of people dedicated to doing some dope sh** for us.”
The couple previously shut down marriage rumors
In early July, it appeared that the couple had already gotten married after they dropped these romantic photos:
Before you say it, we know what you’re thinking: These look like engagement photos, right? Well, Mongeau captioned her Instagram post “The Pauls,” which made it seem like they’d made things official. Also, Paul uploaded an intimate photo of them, tagging the location “marriage today.”
But it apparently wasn’t what it seemed. Mongeau shut down the rumors via Twitter on July 9. She wrote, “We’re still engaged. … You’ll know when we have a wedding.”
The wedding follows a lightning-quick engagement
The couple became engaged in June while celebrating Mongeau’s 21st birthday in Las Vegas, just two months after they began dating. Paul popped the question with a cake that read, “Will you marry me, Tana?”
Fans initially called the proposal a publicity stunt, but Mongeau said on Twitter that it was the real deal. “It’s not [a joke]. I’m engaged,” she wrote.
Well, there you have it. Mongeau and Paul are in love and preparing to begin a life together. We can’t wait to see what’s next for these two.
