‘RHOA’ Star, Kenya Moore Shares Why She Has Hope for Her Future With Estranged Husband, Marc Daly
Many fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) were looking forward to learning more about the new man in Kenya Moore’s life with her return. However, she is now separated from her husband, Marc Daly. Moore still has hope for their future. Find out the reason why and more about their separation.
Kenya Moore and Marc Daly have separated
The couple got married in 2017 and kept their relationship off television. It was later announced that they have separated.
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly,” Moore said in a statement given to People. “Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
Moore has talked about their issues on ‘RHOA’
The reality star was able to open up about their issues with her co-stars. One of them was that they haven’t been intimate for some time.
“The baby has changed so much in our lives,” she told Porsha Williams. “She’s in the bed all the time. He does not want me to put her in a crib.” Moore also admitted he didn’t want to have sex later in her pregnancy to Kandi Burruss.
That wasn’t their only problem. Moore said they didn’t communicate well. “I just feel a lot of times stuck, ’cause I don’t want a conversation to elevate to a full-blown argument because he doesn’t compromise,” she said on the show.
“I’m not a fighter [in relationships], I want peace,” she said. “I like to resolve issues. I don’t want to be fighting with my husband like this. I want to be like we were.”
She says they’re going to counseling soon
The reality star has opened up about the vision she had for her life. “So, if I had a vision board, I would say, successful marriage, lots of love… [my daughter] Brooklyn, healthy, happy, thriving,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I would say expanding businesses and fun.”
Moore revealed the decision for their split was out of her hands. “We had a fight and, instead of giving that time to breathe and figure things out after that, you know, a decision was made,” she said. “Independent of me.”
She did note that a big change played into the distance in their marriage. “Once the baby came, things just, you know — the stress of life made our relationship deteriorate, and we couldn’t find our way back to it,” the mother revealed. “But all in all, I still think that a rash decision was made.”
What is her relationship with Daly like today? “We are still apart, but we are better friends now than we have been in a very long time,” she said. “We’re co-parenting great. We are going to be going to counseling soon. So, I’m optimistic.”
