No ‘RHOA’ Tonight: When Will Season 12, Episode 20 Air on Bravo?
As the social distancing guidelines extend to the end of April, fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta found solace on the show airing new episodes. Every Sunday night the drama from the ladies of the A-T-L has brought a good distraction to viewers at home. However, many were surprised that episode 20 of season 12 was not scheduled for March 29th. We now know how much longer we’ll have to wait for the next episode.
Fans have a negative reaction
It was Dave Quinn that rattled the Bravoverse when he tweeted that “there won’t be a new episode tonight.” After he shared the news with a Nene Leakes GIF attached of her looking at her phone and crying, the fans did not react kindly.
“Well there goes the one thing I was looking forward to this weekend,” a fan tweeted.
“I think they’re trying to extend the season as long as possible because Andy is recovering from COVID-19. Ain’t nobody stupid. If he were well, it’d be airing tonight,” a viewer said.
“Is it to trick us into watching Family Karma? Cuz that’s not going to work,” a Twitter user shared.
When will ‘RHOA’ return?
Instead of an original episode airing, Bravo has programmed a special bonus episode of episode 19.
“This special episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta featuring additional content, exclusive fun facts and behind-the-scenes insight from the producers and stars of the show,” reads the description from DirecTV.
As far as new episodes are concerned, as of right now, the cable network has programmed episode 20 for next Sunday, April 5. That same night, fans will be able to watch episode 21.
Viewers will have to wait an extra week to see the continuation as the ladies return from their cast trip to Greece.
‘RHOA’ reunion postponed
As the ladies of RHOA were preparing to shoot the season 12 reunion, the whole country started shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic. That interfered with the production of the series and for now, there has been no word as to when they will film it.
“Obviously, that’s not happening,” Andy Cohen said during an interview on SiriusXM. “Hopefully we will be able to shoot it just as soon as we possibly can. People are saying, ‘Why don’t you just do it remotely?’ I don’t think that that would work. I don’t think it would work well. I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
Nene Leakes promises an explosive reunion
Leakes had been teasing that she was going to be coming for the girls during their encounter and show them who the queen is.
“These girls … they’re gonna get it, let me tell you. This isn’t a threat, it’s a promise,” Leakes teased during an interview with People.
“I’m going to be beat from head to toe while I do it, sitting there with a full face, wig, dress, high heels this tall, looking fabulous, and tearing the house down,” Leakes continued. “I’m going to get these girls and do it very good and walk right on out and sleep just fine. Is my money in my account? Thank you. The queen is here, you can never wear the crown. They’re all wearing tiaras.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
