Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is wrapping up production for the year. The ladies of the California-set franchise filmed, what would be the last scene of the season, but one housewife was missing. This has caused fans to speculate if she’s getting fired next as the lack of commitment to the show is evident.
For season 10 of RHOBH the following cast members are confirmed: Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Teddi Mellencamp, Dorit Kemsley, and Denise Richards. In addition, two new housewives are joining the group: Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke.
“The finale party episode was filmed last night… Denise did not show up,” the insider tweeted.
Denise Richards refusing to film
Richards has had issues with keeping to her schedule to film RHOBH. The season 10 cast took a trip to Rome and she had initially asked not to go.
“Denise Richards really did not want to go to Rome at all after struggling to jive with the cast this season,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
Although Richards had “pleaded” with producers to be excused of taking a trip to Italy, they refused her calling.
“She doesn’t seem to be enjoying doing the show as much this season and nobody would be surprised if it were to be her last,” the insider revealed. “She wants to be doing acting more and Housewives has opened other opportunities for her. She’s really not about the drama and seems to be disconnected from it at times. A lot of the cast is frustrated with her lack of participation still this season.”
Brandi Glanville hints of a housewife quitting
Brandi Glanville is set to make recurrent appearances during season 10 of RHOBH. The former full-time housewife is in the mix of a lot of drama and she has hinted that one of the regular stars might by quitting.
“I don’t know if we’re going to ever see one of the housewives ever again,” Glanville told Hollywood Life. “She’s kind of refusing to film.”
Even though Glanville didn’t state the name of the RHOBH star that might not return, fans have speculated it’s Richards. The controversial housewife understands how hectic and strenuous filming can be for the cast.
“I am back and I’m stressed out,” she added. “You forget how stressful these things can be, and they really are silly.”
A source close to the RHOBH production has revealed that Richards is not as close to the rest of the cast as she once was. During her sophomore season on the Bravo series, she has distanced herself from the other ladies and has not been participating in the group dynamics.
“[Richards] is definitely not as close to a lot of the ladies as she was last season and her friendships with them are not what they once were,” a source told Hollywood Life. “They’re all upset that she’s never around and find it really unfair, but Denise is busy working. They all feel like they have to work too, so she should want to come to things as much as they do and she doesn’t.”
Bravo has not announced the return of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but it will undoubtedly premiere in the first months of 2020.
