‘RHOBH’: Is Lisa Vanderpump Considering Coming Back to the Show?
Maybe it really isn’t over. Reportedly, Lisa Vanderpump is considering coming back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Last month, it was announced that Vanderpump would be leaving the show.
“I made the decision to leave,” the restauranteur told Us Weekly. “It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”
Why did Vanderpump quit the show?
This season was one of the roughest for Vanderpump. She lost her dear friend Kyle Richards and pretty much all of the other relationships that she had due to #puppygate.
After feuding with the rest of the women on the show, Vanderpump reportedly refused to film with them so some of her scenes were cut out of the show.
“Lisa is extremely hurt that several scenes that she filmed for RHOBH have been cut because it’s all about her philanthropy work which she loves to proudly show off,” a source close to the show told HollywoodLife. “She feels that since there’s no drama, they got cut, but she wants to show off that side of her life and is really disappointed that those scenes got cut because that’s a big part of her life as a real housewife.”
Vanderpump also skipped the reunion, which host Andy Cohen was not too happy about.
“Andy felt incredibly disrespected over the fact that Lisa Vanderpump ditched the reunion,” a source told HollywoodLife. “He tried to get her to come, but she just wouldn’t budge. When LuAnn [deLesseps] or Yolanda[Hadid] didn’t attend the reunion, it was much different due to medical reasons, as Lisa was trying to compare the situations, but Andy was telling people that he truly felt like LVP stood him up. He and Lisa have had a great relationship all these years, so he really wished she was there to say her piece.”
Will Vanderpump come back?
Though he was upset that Vanderpump did not attend the reunion, Cohen has always said that the reality star could come back to the show whenever she wanted.
And if recent reports are anything to go by, the reality star may actually be considering it.
“Lisa Vanderpump is feeling conflicted going into this week’s finale of RHOBH,” a close source told HollywoodLife.
“It’s a mix of emotions because it’s an end of an era for her and she feels upset that she will barely be shown, especially on a project she worked so hard on, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden,” the source continued, “Lisa knows it was her choice not to film with the other ladies, but she is still frustrated that more of her life wasn’t shown in the final episodes. She is happy they are choosing to show her in the finale, though.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo and will be the last episode that Vanderpump is featured in unless she decides to return to the show.
