‘RHOBH’: Lisa Vanderpump Suggests Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke ‘Run’ From Show
Lisa Vanderpump quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during season 9 of the show. The animal activist felt attacked by the rest of the cast during a delicate moment in her life. Bravo producers and the cast moved on and hired two new housewives: Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke. Now, the former RHOBH star is sending a little advice disguised under her British humor.
The restaurant mogul wants the new housewives to take a cue from her book and run from the show just as she did last season.
“All of them…hide under the table. Run!” she jokingly advised the new ladies in an interview with Hollywood Life. “I don’t know either of them. I don’t know them, but I do wish them luck. Good luck. That’s what I can say.”
Lisa Vanderpump gets love from fans
It’s no secret Vanderpump wants nothing to do with the remaining RHOBH cast members despite continuously throwing shade at them. During BravoCon she felt all the love from fans that took her side in the issues she faced with her former co-stars.
“I think [the fans] felt that this year had been really hard [for me] and they were just really on my side,” Vanderpump said. “So I loved it. I literally tried to grab as many hands as I could throughout the course of the evening and take pictures and selfies because they mean the world to me. When I do a signing, I stay until the last person is seen because they mean the world. Without them, we don’t have a show. When the women have been against me, I tell you what — the fans, and the way they support you and they don’t take crap…I just love that. It’s a very depressing year for me, and so suddenly, there they are.”
Sutton Stracke joins ‘RHOBH’
It was over the summer that Bravo officially announced that two new housewives would be joining RHOBH in season 10. Stracke comes in as Lisa Rinna’s friend and reportedly the one causing drama amongst the group.
“I am thrilled and honored to be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As a mother to three children, who is also deeply committed to my efforts in philanthropy, my life is a balancing act,” Stracke said in a statement to The Daily Dish back in August.
“There is a lot going on in the best way possible and I strive to pursue all of my passions to the fullest,” she continued. “I am excited to share my true loves of art and fashion design and open the doors to my world. I am looking forward to this ride and where this journey takes me. Fun times ahead for this Southern Belle in Southern California!”
Garcelle Beauvais is a first for ‘RHOBH’
Also joining the Housewives is Beauvais, the first African-American in this franchise.
“I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” she told The Daily Dish in a statement. “As a working actor who has been in the industry for some time, it’s exhilarating to have the opportunity to delve into a new chapter in the entertainment spectrum.”
Beauvais feels “honored and humbled” to represent the black community on the Bravo show.
“I’m excited to share the many ongoing daily surprises, laughs and joys of being a working mother in today’s crazy world. The hustle is R-E-A-L! No games, all heart and a little dash of fashion-filled sass is what you’ll get when you step into my sphere…and I wouldn’t have it any other way!” she added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return to Bravo in the first weeks of 2020.
