‘RHOBH’: Why Lisa Vanderpump Feels It Is Almost Impossible for Her to Return to the Show
Lisa Vanderpump has officially quit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after playing coy about whether she would return. She recently opened up about why she made that decision. Find out why she feels it is almost impossible for her to return at this point.
Lisa Vanderpump previously claimed her scenes were cut from the rest of the season
Although Vanderpump didn’t film with the other reality stars for the rest of the season, she did film scenes. One fan tweeted at her asking if fans could expect to see her again.
“No, maybe Caesar’s on the last one …” she answered. “They cut out all my scenes, it was all philanthropic.#route 91 strong …Trevor project psa ..
Indian party etc.
Vanderpump filming alone wasn’t surprising given she talked about it before the season premiered. “I just wasn’t in the right mental state to really cope with everything Real Housewives throws at you,” Vanderpump told Us Weekly. “It was a very difficult year for me, and I just kind of got to a place where I just was desperately searching for happiness in my life at that time and it just got very heated there.”
She also skipped the reunion
Any hope of Vanderpump returning to the show was probably gone with the confirmation that she didn’t come back for the reunion. Andy Cohen gave an update about the reunion in a livestream with Anderson Cooper.
“The reunion is going great,” he claimed according to People. “It’s major. Lisa Vanderpump‘s not here.” Cooper asked if Vanderpump hasn’t been there at all for the reunion and Cohen raised his eyebrows.
“There’s major things happening,” he said. “There’s trouble afoot in Beverly Hills.” He also mentioned Camille Grammer was there instead even though she isn’t a full-time cast member. This wasn’t exactly a huge surprise since Vanderpump did mention not having a desire to return for the reunion because she has “no inclination to reunite with the women.”
Vanderpump says she doesn’t have a great relationship with the women
The reality star is opening up about her reason for quitting the show. Her relationship with her co-stars is the biggest factor.
“I have a great relationship with [Bravo]. I just don’t have a great relationship with the women,” Vanderpump told Us Weekly. “After 17 episodes of them bashing me, I think I’ve had enough of all of them.”
There have been rumors that she may be done given she wasn’t filming with the other ladies for a good portion of the season. “I think everybody knew,” she said. “It’s almost impossible for me to go back. How could I? It was too difficult.”
The restaurant owner went on to say only one of the stars from the show has reached out to her. “I think I heard from Kyle once, but for the most part, anybody that had reached out, it was for filming,” she said. “It wasn’t to talk to me privately.”
It’s unknown whether this would have an effect on Vanderpump Rules. A sign that it might not is that Vanderpump says she still has a great relationship with Bravo.
