‘RHOBH’: Would Lisa Vanderpump Forgive Kyle Richards if She Apologized?

Lisa Vanderpump is pretty much done with everything that has to do with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Ever since #Puppygate, the star has been at odds with the rest of her RHOBH costars. The feud got so bad that she was even cut from the remaining episodes of the season after reportedly refusing to film with the rest of the cast.

Since the blow-up, Vanderpump has decided to leave RHOBH behind and will not be returning next season. But is she done with all things Beverly Hills, including her former friendships?

What happened between Kyle Richards and Vanderpump?

Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump have been friends for many years. Their relationship was one of the pillars of the show.

But this season, all of that changed. The drama started when rumors began to spread that Dorit Kemsley got a dog from Vanderpump’s Vanderpump Dogs Foundation and then dropped it off at a sheltter.

Some of the women claimed that Vanderpump knew about the whole thing, but Richards tried to stay neutral for as long as she could.

Eventually, Richards accused Vanderpump of badmouthing Kemsley to the press.

“Wow, this is a big shock to me. This changes everything,” Vanderpump said on RHOBH when accused. “I’ve done nothing wrong. Just because you accuse me, I am not going to say, ‘Yes I did something’ if I didn’t do it. I’m a woman with integrity who stands up for what’s right. I could have thrown her under the bus. But I’m done. I’m done with you, too.”

Would Vanderpump forgive Richards?

Richards and Vanderpump haven’t really spoken since the whole argument went down.

In a recent interview with HollywoodLife, the reality star was asked if she would forgive Richards if she apologized.

“I think she had that chance,” Vanderpump told the outlet.

She continued, saying that Richards only reached out for filming purposes.

“It was the day before my birthday so that would be 10 months ago and I got a text the next day,” she said. “When people say they’ve reached out — When people reaching out to you to film on camera, that’s not really — ‘Do come meet us for drinks, oh by the way, the cameras are there.’ That’s a different scenario.”

Does Vanderpump miss Richards?

But just because Vanderpump wouldn’t forgive Richards doesn’t mean she isn’t saddened by the end of the friendship. Sadly, she can’t say the same about her former friend.

“Clearly she’s not mourning the friendship because of this whole nonsense that was on social media about ‘Goodbye Kyle,'” Vanderpump said on
Watch What Happens Live of the social media trend making fun of their feud. “It would have been funny, maybe — I mean, it wasn’t that smart — but it would have been funny maybe if the friendship has been salvaged. But it hasn’t. So it’s been very sad.”

She went on to say that she didn’t feel like Richards had been a loyal friend to her.

“I think Kyle always [plays the middle],” she said. “When you’re a good friend, I think you stand up for them. I’ve stood up for Kyle even when I have no idea whether they’re right or wrong. Sometimes she straddles the fence and the fence gets stuck up your ass. If you’re going to be a friend to everybody, sometimes you’re loyal to nobody.”
