‘RHOC’: Tamra Judge Doesn’t Know If She and Shannon Beador Were Ever Real Friends or If It Was All for the Cameras

The Real Housewives of Orange County fans are missing Tamra Judge. She brought a certain spark to the show that no other housewife can match. She, Vicki Gunvalson, and Shannon Beador formed the Tres Amigas, a crew that was thought to be inseparable during their reign on the show. But now that Judge and Gunvalson have exited the franchise, Judge has been spending a lot of time wondering if her friendship with Beador was ever even real.

Tamra Judge’s exit

Judge’s departure from the show was a surprise to her. Apparently, she was offered a minor role in season 15 of RHOC but she turned it down.

“I knew that it was going to be a difficult year for me to film because of Simon and the kids,” Judge told HollywoodLife. “I couldn’t imagine partying and drinking and going out. That was weighing heavy on me so, when I got the call, they were like, ‘Well, they decided to go in a different direction,’ and I was just shocked. I was like, ‘Well, what do you mean?’ And they were like, ‘Oh, well they wanted to give you a limited role,’ and I’m like, ‘No way.’ I didn’t want to do it.”

She and Gunvalson both exited the show around the same time and still talk to each other regularly.

Are Tamra and Shannon still friends?

Initially, when Judge left the show, she and Beador were still on good terms.

“We did talk after I announced [my departure],” Judge told Reality Blurb. “Normally we would talk several times a day, every single day. And if I didn’t call her or call her back right away, she’d be like, ‘Where are you? How come you haven’t called me?’ And then, all of a sudden, I don’t hear from you and then it’s been a week and I would call her and go to voicemail.”

And now, it’s been a while since the two have spoken.

“I think one of my last text messages to her … we had finally connected and talked for an hour and I’m like, ‘Thank you so much for talking to me’ and I’m like, ‘what the hell am I doing? I’m like thanking her for talking to me?’ I used to get up in the middle of the night and take her calls and walk out of restaurants and take her calls when she was going through a hard time. To me, I’m just hurt. I’m really hurt. And Vicki is, too. And Vicki even asked her, ‘Are you my real friend? Are we gonna continue to be friends after I’m not gonna be on?’ and she was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, of course.’”

Were Tamra and Shannon ever real friends?

Gunvalson recently mentioned that she has doubted if Beador’s friendship was ever real because she stopped hanging out with her once filming stopped. And now Judge is wondering the same thing.

“I would hate to think that. I don’t know,” Judge said. “There’s been times where I’m like, you know what? I’m just gonna send her a text message or something. And then I’m like, but wait … why isn’t she reaching out to me?!”

Ultimately, Judge just wants Beador back in her life.

“That’s what hurts. I just want my friend there,” she said. “When you’re used to talking to somebody every single day and then all of a sudden it’s every week, then once every two weeks and I’m like… what’s going on?”
