‘RHOC’ Cast Reacts To Tamra Judge Possibly Returning for Season 15
Tamra Judge announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County after 12 years. The Bravo star had a difficult time accepting the news that she unfollowed all of her co-stars from social media, including Andy Cohen. After she processed the situation she had a change of heart and started following everyone again. A new rumor is suggesting that Judge might not be completely out of RHOC and is allegedly negotiating her contract.
Judge had been offered a three-episode stint for season 15 of the show but ultimately turned it down. The TV personality was also dealing with finding out her ex-husband had cancer and felt it was a good time to spend more time with her family.
“Those three episodes wouldn’t make any sense to me because I am very much a person who is very honest on the show,” Judge said in an interview with People. “At the time, Simon did not want to come forward with it, so I could not talk about it. It didn’t make any sense for me to be like, ‘I’m sorry, I’ve been very busy now, gotta go,’ because it would be a lie. I couldn’t be honest. I couldn’t be real.”
Rumors of a return to ‘RHOC’
The CBD business owner started hinting that fans would be able to see her back on television soon. During a Q&A with fans on Instagram, she advised her followers to stay tuned. Days later, she gave an interview where she revealed she had been approached by someone to do another show.
“It was a job to me and when this job ended, I never thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to get another show,’ because I don’t have agents,” Judge said on Jeff Lewis Live. “Well, I’ve been approached. Andy told me to hold off on signing any kind of contract, run it past him first cause he says that I’ll be back next year.”
A new report suggested Judge was already in negotiations to return as a “friend.” This would be en expansive role, unlike the first offer where she would only appear in three episodes.
“Tamra is working out a deal that would bring her back for more than three episodes for between $20-25,000 each,” a source told Radar Online. “She didn’t like just being on three episodes. She was being phased out and she knew it and wanted to control the narrative.”
According to the same source, producers were not keen on the footage coming out and bringing Judge in would take the rest of the cast by surprise.
‘RHOC’ cast reacts to rumors
After the news broke the RHOC cast was allegedly “shocked” to find out Judge might possibly return to the reality series.
“The ladies of the RHOC were shocked to hear that Tamra will be returning for this season,” a source told Hollywood Life. “They thought she was done for this season so they didn’t know what to make of it when the news came out.”
Nothing is official yet and Judge has not confirmed she has signed to the deal. As for the rest of the season 15 cast, the insider said that “they have all been kept in the dark about what capacity” Judge would return as but “they’re all anxiously waiting.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County is filming season 15 now and it will return to Bravo later this year.
