‘RHOC’: Kelly Dodd Fires Back at Fans Who Called Her out for Not Social Distancing

Kelly Dodd from The Real Housewives of Orange County is stirring up drama on social media. The Bravo star has taken a break from her fellow co-stars and taken aim at all her haters. Dodd was seen taking a break from sheltering at home to visit her doctor. When her fans called her out for not following the rules, Dodd fired back to explain why.

“Thank you for everybody slamming me about the social distancing thing,” she said on her Instagram Stories. “I’m allowed to be with a person one-on-one. Just because I went to go see my doctor to give me supplements, crack my back, and give me some things to boost my immune system.”

It is not certain of Dodd is back at home in Southern California as she had also been seen in New York City with her Fox News reporter fiancé Rick Leventhal.

“I think I can be one-on-one with my doctors, I don’t need social distancing,” she continued. “Social distancing means when you’re in a group of people. I think people just need to get off their high horses. I know it sucks that we’re all stuck in here and we’re all going crazy but I am washing my hands and taking all kinds of precautions.”

In her last clip, Dodd teased that all will be over soon. She made many wonder what information she was privy to.

“Everybody soon will see what’s going to happen, we can’t say right now but we’ll see in a few days. It’s all going to be positive,” she concluded.

Kelly Dodd gets coronavirus test

That was not the only controversy Dodd was facing on Instagram. The RHOC star also made fans upset after she confirmed she had gotten the coronavirus test even though she had no symptoms. Keep in mind that many people have been trying to get tested but have not been able to because there’s a shortage across the country.

“How did you get tested? People who have symptoms can’t get a test,” a fan asked on Instagram.

“You can get tested if you know people,” Dodd answered.

When another fan called her out for her “terrible answer,” Dodd added, “there is a test you’ll all hear about. It’s coming out… it’s going to be a game-changer. Watch.”

Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter gets tested

The RHOC world was hit with a possible case of coronavirus when Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter started experiencing symptoms. Briana Culberson is a nurse and has been in close contact with patients that have tested positive for the virus.

Culberson’s husband posted a screenshot of a text he received from her that alarmed fans.

“I started coughing bad at work this morning and was short of breath. They put me on a 14-day quarantine and sent me home,” read the text. “I have to call occupational health in the morning to follow up and see what’s next.”

“No fever yet but I have chills,” she added. “I’m going to sleep upstairs and probably will have to stay away from you guys as much as possible until I know more.”

Fortunately, a day later Ryan Culberson gave an update on his wife’s health and it was good news.

“The tests came back negative,” read the post. “Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and messages.”
