‘RHOC’: Kelly Dodd Throws Shade at Shannon Beador After Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge Exit
Kelly Dodd got her wish for season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County after Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge announced their exit. With the latter two leaving the franchise, that means that Shannon Beador is the last of the “tres amigas” still a housewife. Dodd fell out with Beador over the last season and has taken to social media to throw shade.
Kelly Dodd answers ‘RHOC’ fan questions
Dodd was feeling extra shady this week and took time off her busy traveling schedule to answer questions from fans. When a follower asked if Beador was only “on the show because she needs a job,” Dodd answered.
“She’s not friends with any of us,” Dodd replied.
The RHOC star said her friendship with Beador went downhill because she abandoned it.
“She was about the ‘tres amigas,'” Dodd said. “I was good friends with her off-camera which is sad. Watch and see what happens.”
Dodd agreed when another fan said, “Shannon will be scrounging around for friends now that Vicki and Tamra are gone. Maybe she shouldn’t have burnt so many bridges with her holier than thou attitude.”
The controversial Bravolebrity hinted that would be open to reconciling with Beador but asked fans to wait to see how season 15 played out. When a fan asked how she was going to deal with Beador, Dodd said, “[the] same way I have with the other 5 that got fired. We will see…”
Vicki Gunvalson quits ‘RHOC’
Gunvalson was the only housewife that was open to Dodd when she first arrived at the scene. At the time, the insurance maven had been outcasted by the rest of the ladies and welcomed Dodd with open arms.
“I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Gunvalson wrote on Instagram. “It’s been an incredible ride for 14 years and I want [to] thank all of you for your support, for your love and for ‘whooping it up’ with me along the way.”
In her farewell post, Gunvalson did tell fans that she was not leaving media as she was getting ready to launch a podcast.
“I’ve been working on new projects that will be exciting, empowering and inspirational,” she continued. “My podcast with Westwood One will be launching soon and I will have much more to say about this on Whoop it up with Vicki. I hope you will join me on my new journey, so please stay tuned. I love all my fans, and I want to thank Bravo and Evolution for this incredible experience which my family and I have will never forget.”
Tamra Judge quit after demotion
Another housewife that Dodd was feuding with was Judge, who also announced she was leaving RHOC after 12 years. The fitness guru was asked to return for three episodes to wrap up her storyline but she walked away from that opportunity.
“It’s been a wild ride, and after all these years, I’m looking forward to life away from the cameras,” Judge told People in an interview. “I was offered a chance to come back to the show in a limited role, but would prefer to walk away on my own terms.”
The new season of RHOC is expected to start production soon and air during the summer on Bravo.
