Kelly Dodd From ‘RHOC’ Slams Vicki Gunvalson for ‘Deadbeat’ Partners as Twitter Feud Heats Up
Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson are not only feuding on The Real Housewives of Orange County but they have also been attacking each other on social media. The current Bravo housewife and the OG of the franchise have been saying nasty things to each other since the Season 13 reunion show. Things are so heated that even family members are on the receiving end of the insults.
How did the feud between Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson start?
According to Dodd this was devastating to her daughter Jolie because she now gets bullied at school.
“She [is] now getting bullied. Michael [her husband] will not allow her to ever film,” Dodd tweeted at a fan.
Just ahead of the Season 14 premiere of RHOC, Dodd said in an interview that Gunvalson’s demotion on the show to a friend was good because she was “stale.”
“[Vicki Gunvalson] doesn’t really have anything in her life. You know, her kids are gone, her grandkids are gone,” Dodd told Us Weekly. “All good things come to an end. And I think, you know, everyone was kind of sick of their story, money, Tamra and Vicki. So you know, I think it’s kind of time for them to go bye-bye. I feel like, out with the old, in with the fresh. It’s stale, it’s getting stale.”
Vicki Gunvalson fires back at Kelly Dodd
Gunvalson is not one to stand and take all the punches and as soon as Dodd started attacking her, she fought right back. After Dodd called her stale she took to Instagram to give her thoughts on her former friend.
“I used to feel sorry for her, now I don’t. She is an angry, volatile person,” Gunvalson wrote on Instagram about Dodd. “Regarding her stating we are stale and don’t have storylines… listen up girl! Our lives are always evolving and changing. We don’t have ‘storylines.’ It’s a ‘reality show’…our reality. Not fake stories like you.”
Kids are brought into the feud
More recently, Dodd took to Twitter again and attacked both Gunvalson and Tamra Judge’s relationship with their children.
“My poor daughter … consider the source [about the train rumor]. We have one loser that her daughter hates her mom and the second loser chose her boyfriend over her daughter. They could care less about my kid, let alone their own,” Dodd tweeted.
Gunvalson replied with a comment to the fan’s Instagram post: “Oh please! If she cared about Jolie she would clean up her act and stay home and be a mother instead of being on the hunt for the next victim, I mean rich man. She’s a liar. I would never ever choose a man over my children. They are and will always be my first priority. Hers? Nah!”
Judge also weighed in adding the following: “[By the way], has she ever thought about anybody else’s kids? No, she continues to spread rumors and bring up kids on a daily [basis].”
Dodd saw their replies and once again, tweeted out a reply that she soon deleted.
“Funny how Vicki said I’m not home with my child,” she wrote in the deleted tweet. “First of all, I don’t pick deadbeat people as my partners. Hence, the children’s baby daddy. I have one week on and [one] week off. I picked a good dad for my child, she picks losers [because] that’s all she can get.”
Will the former friends ever be friends again?
There has been a lot said between Dodd and Gunvalson that it looks like their friendship is long gone. Dodd has already said she could never be friends with Gunvalson again.
“I will never be friends with Vicki again. … And I can promise that,” Dodd told Us Weekly. “Tamra and Shannon for four years said that they hated Vicki, they’ll never be friends with her again. Over and over again. I can promise you I will never be friends her.”
