Emily Simpson has been struggling on season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The Bravo star has not only been grappling with her marriage but seeing how her friendship with Gina Kirschenheiter dwindles. To add to the drama, Tamra Judge is also not on good terms with Simpson and they recently got into a Twitter feud.
Emily Simpson feuds with Tamra Judge
In the most recent episode of RHOC, Simpson went in to get an evaluation from Eddie Judge at his gym. The housewife got on the scale to get an idea of how much body fat percentage. Based on the results, it was determined that she was “obese.” Following the episode airing on Bravo, fans had a lot to say and Simpson reacted.
“Emily is not obese at 34% body fat. Shame on Tamra and Eddie,” a fan tweeted.
The housewife replied to the tweet with a “thank you.”
Judge saw this response and was not happy with Simpson’s response and clapped back,
“You are unbelievable,” Judge wrote. “We try to help you and I’ve seen multiple tweet[s] of yours that are not nice. Eddie spent over an hour with you talking health [and] nutrition. No one made you get on the scale. You love playing [the] victim and it’s getting old.”
Simpson clarified her response to the fan by saying, “I simply said ‘thank you’ to someone who said I wasn’t ‘obese.’ That’s all. If you want to read more into that, that’s on you.”
Another fan got into the mix of the Twitter feud by advising Simpson to do the following: “Don’t lower yourself replying to her or trying to justify yourself. It’s obviously your turn to be on the end of Tamra’s mean-girl tactics.”
“Yes, so mean of us to try and help her,” Judge replied followed by the crying with laughter emoji. “How about a thank you?”
Emily Simpson further clarifies her comment
As other fans tweeted Judge, she defended her husband by all the mean comments she was receiving.
“Of course [Eddie] was right,” Judge wrote. “He would never say something just to be cruel.”
Simpson further clarified that her comments about her time at the gym with Judge and Eddie were about the production showing her weight. The housewife said that she asked producers not to show her weight, but they eventually did.
In another tweet, Simpson further clarified by writing, “My comments were strictly related to production. I asked them not to film the scale. That is all I have referred to.”
Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter continue to fall out
During the same episode, Simpson was involved in a storyline with her friend Kirschenheiter. The former set up the latter on a date who ends up canceling at the last minute due to a toe injury. The mother-of-three gave her thoughts on the incident on Bravo’s RHOC After Show.
“My first thought was, ‘A f****in’ toe?’ Did you break your vagina?” Gina joked. “You literally give birth, you have a human come through your vagina and they send you home and they’re like, ‘Now care for this human,’ but you break a toe and you can’t get in an Uber?!”
Kirschenheiter then adds that she found out the guy she was supposed to go on a date with had a girlfriend.
“This is where I get into this weird territory with Emily because I don’t know if I can trust him, you know, and I like to give my friend the benefit of the doubt,” she said. “But he’s like, ‘Emily and Shane told me it was gonna be a fake date.'”
After all the incident, the newly-single housewife said that she felt betrayed by her friend.
“[Betrayal] is worse than what had come before it. That’s when you’re having a bad time,” Gina said.
A producer is heard asking Kirschenheiter if this situation was worse than going to jail.
“That was worse,” Gina replied. “That was worse, like, I would’ve done better on eHarmony at this point.”
Simpson and the rest of the Orange County crew will continue to showcase their lives on RHOC, airing every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
