‘RHOC’ Stars Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge Clap Back at Emily Simpson’s Claims They Are ‘Geriatric’
Emily Simpson did not just go there. During a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Simpson poked fun at Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Judge for how old they are. At one point, Simpson age shamed the Tres Amigas for being “senior citizens,” and later referred to them as “old and geriatric.” Not ones to lay down without a fight, Gunvalson and Judge fired back on social media and called her out for being so disrespectful.
Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge clap back
Taking to Twitter, Gunvalson was the first to hit back at Simpson’s blatant age shaming. The OG of the OC, who was brought back as a friend in season 14 of RHOC, slammed Simpson for making fun of her age.
“Watched @BravoRHOC last night & I was shocked to hear @RealOCEmily bash me about my age of 57. Referencing me as ‘old, I should be in a convalescent home, and geriatric.’ Really? I can’t change my DOB and you will get there too. #disrespectful #rude,” Vicki Gunvalson wrote.
Judge used a slightly different tactic in the face of Simpson’s comments. The RHOC star shared several recent photos of herself rocking a bikini in Florida. Judge might be a few years older than Simpson, but the CUT Fitness owner is in the best shape of her life.
“Cheers to being “old & geriatric” #rhoc #ageshaming #52 #grandma #4kids #fitmom #myhipswork #fitoldlady #hardworkpaysoff #vegetarian ~The hypocrisy is disgusting,” Judge added in the caption.
Simpson has responded to Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge’s posts. The reality star shared a photo of herself, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Kelly Dodd next to a photo of the Tres Amigas – who happen to be dressed up as old women in the pic.
Simpson tries to clear the air
Fans have not reacted positively to Simpson’s age shaming. After her exchange with Gunvalson and Judge on social media, she attempted to set the record straight on what was actually said on the show.
According to Too Fab, Simpson told her followers that she did not say anything about Gunvalson, Beador, and Judge needing to be in a convalescent home. The comment was actually made by Dodd, and Simpson got dragged into the conversation after Kirschenheiter asked her about it.
That said, Simpson has said things about Vicki Gunvalson’s age in the past. She has also criticized the Tes Amigas for being bullies on the show and clearly wants nothing to do with them.
Gunvalson, of course, has been at odds with Simpson’s friend, Dodd, since before the season 14 premiere. So it is not that surprising that the two groups are starting to butt heads.
Vicki Gunvalson won’t come back as a friend
Considering all the drama she has stirred up in season 14 of RHOC, Gunvalson is determined to win her orange back next season. If she doesn’t, then the OG of the OC is prepared to walk away from the show for good.
“I’m never coming back reduced again,” Vicki Gunvalson shared.
Gunvalson added that agreeing to be on the show part-time was one of the hardest things she has had to do in her career. The reality star had been a full-time cast member since the very start of the series in 2006.
As far as her future is concerned, Gunvalson later revealed that she has no idea what is going to happen next season. Given her drama with Dodd, there is a good chance that producers will want to bring her back for at least one more run.
Gunvalson willing to return to ‘RHOC’
Although Vicki Gunvalson will not agree to come back as a friend, she is willing to return if Bravo gives her orange back. She even knows what her tagline would be in season 15, which is a promising sign for her future.
“My crown is tilted!” Gunvalson stated.
At the end of last season, Gunvalson got into an epic fight with Dodd after she accused her of using cocaine. Their feud spilled out on social media, with Dodd vowing to quit the series if Gunvalson was invited back.
Bravo has not said anything about casting for season 15 of RHOC, but this is definitely something to keep an eye on as we get closer to the reunion – especially if things continue to heat up between the cast members.
Fans can watch the drama unfold between Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Emily Simpson when the season finale of the Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesday night on Bravo.
