‘RHOC’: Tamra Judge Insists Kelly Dodd Is Edited to Look ‘Better Than She Actually Is’
Judge insists Dodd has become a liability for Bravo as the network has cut at least five cast members over the past few weeks. She says Dodd’s behavior regarding COVID-19 and racist remarks should position Dodd to be the next one axed by the network.
She adds that what viewers see isn’t what they get. Judge believes that no other cast member in the Housewives franchise has received an edit as glowing as Dodd’s. Plus she believes the apology Dodd released surrounding COVID-19 remarks was prompted by the network.
Dodd is made to look better than she is on the series
Judge dished about Dodd during a two-part interview on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. She insists the series will often take a moment the rest of the cast experiences and drag it out to make it look more explosive than it was — but not for Dodd.
“It is mind-blowing to me she’s the only Housewife in history that I know that’s edited better than she is,” Judge said. “They make her look better than she really is. The rest of us, if you do something they are gonna make it and drag It out and make it look worse than it is. But with her its the opposite. I feel she’s a huge liability to the network.”
She added, “For a public person to do that is very irresponsible. And ignorant. Somebody told me just yesterday on Kelly’s story that there was a picture of them all out drinking. I’m like, unbelievable.”
Judge also thinks Bravo crafted the response for Dodd to share when she apologized for controversial comments about COVID-19. “It’s bad I can’t imagine Bravo is happy about that,” she said. “I am sure PR for Bravo made her issue an apology. I’m sure Bravo made her do that. There is no way she did that on her own … no way.”
Judge also insists Dodd lies about the cast in the media
Judge went further, sharing that Dodd makes false remarks in the media about other cast members. “It’s not fair when you have someone like Kelly Dodd who puts sh*t out there that’s not true,” she remarked. “It’s so devastating to your character and a lot of people watching take it with a grain of salt and say its just TV but it becomes really heavy for us to deal with.”
She continued, “There are certain things you don’t do. You don’t go after kids or livelihood. There are no limits with Kelly. There are no limits with that girl. It’s really hard, no one can be authentic on the show [and] everyone is afraid of Kelly.” Judge then emphasized, “Everyone is afraid of what they say and do. She’ll go after you your kids, your mother, your husband, your dog … there are no boundaries.”
