‘RHOC’: Is Tamra Judge Trying to Get Emily Simpson Fired?
Tamra Judge has been at the center of controversy since the start of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14. The Bravo star has been vocally opinionated on her fellow co-stars like Kelly Dodd. Now, some fans think that the fitness enthusiast is trying to ice out Emily Simpson off of the reality show.
Emily Simpson has a theory
Judge has a close friendship with her RHOC co-stars Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson but has not gotten close to Simpson. When a fan of the show tweeted at the latter asking why the Orange County ladies were mean to her, Simpson had a theory.
“This is why, a systematic and calculated plan to ice someone out so they are let go from the show,” she replied on Twitter.
Simpson cited a response from Judge where she called Camille Grammer out for blaming Kyle Richards when she was not asked back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“When you’re not friends with any of the cast they have no other choice but to let you go. No cast member has the power to fire someone,” Judge wrote.
A Simpson fan replied and asked her to “be careful” as some of the RHOC ladies were putting in practice that behavior.
“Oh girl, I know,” Simpson replied.
Tamra Judge shades Emily Simpson
Not only has Judge been accused of trying to get Simpson fired, but fans also believe that she is trying to get Dodd off the show. In a recent interview, Judge denied she had any say in the RHOC casting.
“I don’t really have the power to fire or anything like that, but I think Kelly’s probably good TV. People like to watch her act out,” she told Life & Style.
In the same article, Judge shaded the issues Simpson is facing on the show adding that her husband was “more interesting than her.”
“I’m so tired of seeing marriages fall apart on national TV, to be honest with you. So you know, I just feel like it’s happened so many times on Housewives shows, like I don’t wanna see that anymore,” she explained.
Judge wants to see more healthy marriages being showcased like her other RHOC co-star, Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
“Bring on people that have healthy marriages like Braunwyn and her husband, like that’s interesting to watch and see that dynamic,” Judge added. “I’m tired of them promoting people that are coming on the show that have terrible marriages, thinking it’s going to make it better or make it worse. I don’t know.”
Tamra Judge talks Kelly Dodd friendship
Judge hinted that friendships would shift as Season 14 of RHOC progressed. One storyline playing out on the show is the rumored “sex train” that Dodd was involved in. The RHOC veteran said that more information was about to come out.
“I think a lot comes out throughout the season,” she told Hollywood Life.
I mean, alliances shift and more information comes out, so yeah, I’m not going to disagree. Just watch, watch and see.”
The friendship between Judge and Dodd will suffer and the former doesn’t really know the reason why.
“She’s just not stable… she’s an angry person,” Judge said.
Although there’s a lot of controversies, Judge is happy by how Season 14 of RHOC is coming along.
“I think it’s good. I think it’s definitely the season that we needed, because the last couple of seasons, let’s face it, have not been our best,” she admitted. “And I am getting like a season nine vibe from this season.”
Not all is drama in the O.C. as Judge said a San Diego trip was one of the best they’ve ever had.
“We do have a really fun trip. We go to San Diego on a train,” she revealed. “And, it was one of the one episodes that we really all got along. We all had a really good time. We had a lot of fun. It was for Shannon’s birthday and to me that’s a good day filming, when everybody gets along.”
