‘RHOC’: Vicki Gunvalson Slams Kelly Dodd for Hitting Shannon Beador

Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd from The Real Housewives of Orange County are not in good terms. The Bravo stars have been at odds since the insurance expert accused the latter of abusing cocaine. Both have attacked each other using the media and a recent incident on the reality show has fired up Gunvalson to continue condemning Dodd.

Vicki Gunvalson’s latest criticism on Kelly Dodd

In Episode 7 of Season 14 of RHOC, the ladies go to a retreat to get good vibes. During one of the exercises, some of the girls did a meditation session with a metal bowl on their head. When it was Shannon Beador’s turn, Dodd thought it would be funny to whack her head with a mallet to make the bong sound.

Although it didn’t affect her right away, Beador soon fell ill with the vibrations making her feel uncomfortable. She was forced to go to urgent care and get seen by a doctor to make sure she hadn’t suffered a concussion.

“Kelly thinking she was funny by hitting Shannon on the head is not ok,” Gunvalson told Radar Online. “Kelly always takes everything too far and how she thought by doing that to her head was ok is beyond me.”

The outcome of the damage Beador suffered from what Dodd did to her will be seen on the next episode of RHOC.

“I don’t think anyone should get away with assault and battery,” Gunvalson continued. “I don’t think Kelly has control of her actions and does and says things without looking at the consequences. No one has the right to hurt anyone.”

In the same episode, Dodd said she didn’t mean to harm Beador. All she was doing was joking around.

Kelly Dodd calls Vicki Gunvalson stale

Season 14 saw the demotion of Gunvalson from RHOC. After 13 seasons, the “OG of the OC” was no longer a housewife. In the current season, Gunvalson agreed to appear as a friend. Being downgraded sparked something inside her as she’s been more vocal this year.

Ahead of the Season 14 premiere, Dodd was asked about Gunvalson’s and she replied saying she was “jumping for joy” at the news.

“I think that she uses everybody as a storyline. She doesn’t really have anything in her life. You know, her kids are gone, her grandkids are gone,” Kelly told Us Weekly. “All good things come to an end. And I think, you know, everyone was kind of sick of their story, money, Tamra and Vicki. So you know, I think it’s kind of time for them to go bye-bye. I feel like, out with the old, in with the fresh. It’s stale, it’s getting stale.”

Dodd doesn’t think her friendship with Gunvalson will ever be repaired and added that she “will never be friends with Vicki again.”

Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t feel sorry for Kelly Dodd

As the thick of the drama between Gunvalson and Dodd unravels the former has lost compassion for the latter and no longer feels sorry for her.

“I used to feel sorry for her, now I don’t. She is an angry, volatile person,” Gunvalson wrote on Instagram. “Regarding her stating we are stale and don’t have storylines… listen up girl! Our lives are always evolving and changing. We don’t have ‘storylines.’ It’s a ‘reality show’…our reality. Not fake stories like you.”

Their friendship has deteriorated to the point of no return. Neither wants to be the bigger person and talk things out, which is a shame. Let’s all remember that when Dodd arrived on RHOC, Gunvalson was the only one that gave her the benefit of the doubt. To be fair, Gunvalson was on the outs with the rest of the group, but it’s still worth noting.

There’s no telling what the future holds for both Gunvalson and Dodd, but fans can continue watching their drama every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
