‘RHOD’: Housewives React To Brandi Redmond Seemingly Quitting Bravo Show
Brandi Redmond has hinted that her time on The Real Housewives of Dallas is over. The Bravo star shared on Instagram a cryptic post that talks about her choosing happiness and things coming to an end. Although the message didn’t outright say that she had quit the reality series, fans are interpreting it as her farewell to the franchise.
Why do fans think Brandi Redmond is leaving RHOD?
Redmond has notably been absent from the press rounds for RHOD Season 5. This could have been because she was pregnant and recently gave birth to the newest member of the Redmond family. However, it could also have been due to the controversies she has been surrounded by.
As season 4 of the reality series came to an end, a video where Redmond is seen poking fun of Asians resurfaced. The former Cowboys cheerleader checked into rehab after facing emotional distress and apologized for her behaviour. In season 5, Redmond addressed the issue and talked about it with new co-star Tiffany Moon, who was born in China.
Over the weekend, Redmond shared a post where she states she had been praying for the “baggage of mistakes, feeling rejected, used and unworthy are no longer tied to anyone’s soul.”
“I’m choosing to set myself free and lean into Jesus and I pray you’ll join me if you too have these desires,” she posted on Instagram. “We are worth happiness, grace, love, compassion and so much more. Stay strong and believe in yourself [because] God always believes in you and is with you.”
At the end of her message, she addresses her fans for supporting her through her journey.
“I also want to thank you all for being a part of my journey these past few years,” she said. “I have loved sharing my life with you but sometimes things come to an end. The best kind of ends are [a] happy ending and I choose happiness. Sending you all my love and prayers.”
What is the ‘RHOD’ Season 5 cast saying about Brandi Redmond’s post?
Although Redmond doesn’t expressly say she’s leaving RHOD, that’s how fans have interpreted her words. After the reality TV personality made the post, some of her co-stars replied with words of supports.
Stephanie Hollman: “I love you so much and you deserve to be happy.”
D’Andra Simmons: “Love you! May God continue to bless you and your family.”
Kary Brittingham: “Brandi, I love you so much, you have my support on whatever you decide. Lucky to have you as a real friend.”
Margaret Josephs, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, also weighed-in and wrote, “Sending you so much love and happiness. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life and infectious energy with us. To say you will be missed is an understatement.”
Kameron Westcott didn’t reply to Redmond’s post but she did share her thoughts on a different Instagram publication. After Hollman stepped-in to slam rumors surrounding Redmond’s marriage, Westcott chimed in.
“Thank you for spreading the truth!! Brandi truly has been through so much and she deserves all the happiness right now,” Westcott wrote.
The Real Housewives of Dallas airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
