‘RHOD’ LeeAnne Locken Addressed Racist ‘Label’ and Teased She Has ‘So Many Things’ to Clear up at Reunion
Real Housewives of Dallas star LeeAnne Locken has been at the center of almost all the Season 4 drama, and fans accused her of racism after she made disparaging comments about Mexican native, Kary Brittingham.
In an interview with ET, Locken addressed the allegations and promised she would clarify more at the Season 4 reunion.

New housewife Kary Brittingham and LeeAnne Locken almost immediately butted heads when Season 4 began. On Episode 3, Brittingham invited the women to her beautiful Carayes, Mexico, home to get to know everyone better.
Therefore, she randomly chose the seating arrangements, which upset Locken. Then, the 52-year-old became upset about the car ride to the house and the number of stairs around the home.
Brittingham perceived Locken as being negative, and when she tried to confront the housewife about her words, Locken brought up her tragic past, much to the annoyance of the other women.
After she returned to Texas, she had several bachelorette parties and wed longtime love, Rich Emberlin. Then, the women flew to Thailand to accompany Stephanie Hollman, and she and D’Andra Simmons’ friendship took another step backward.
In an attempt to be funny, Simmons bought Locken’s dress and then wore it to dinner. She and Brittingham talked nonstop about how the dress needed instructions, which upset Locken.
The entrepreneur then spoke to Hollman privately, where she made a few derogatory remarks about Brittingham, a Mexican woman. Real Housewives of Dallas fans wanted Locken fired after her comments, calling her a racist.
Fans called for Bravo to fire LeeAnne Locken
Locken called Brittingham a “chirpy Mexican” and continued to reference the housewife’s heritage almost every time she brought Brittingham up behind her back.
Fans claim they love the other housewives but don’t feel comfortable watching the show with Locken making racist comments and no one addressing it. If Bravo doesn’t fire the 52-year-old, then fans want host Andy Cohen to press her on it during the Season 4 reunion.
LeeAnne Locken addressed racism allegations and teased ‘RHOD’ reunion
In an interview with ET, Locken excitedly announced she was “ready for a real good shake-up” to the cast for Season 5, even though Bravo has not publicly announced a renewal.
However, fans believe there will be another season because flyers “seeking affluent women in the Dallas area” with the Real Housewives of Dallas stamp began circulating on Instagram.
When asked about the racism allegations about Brittingham, Locken replied that everyone around her knows she “believes in inclusion and equality” and will die fighting for it. Therefore, she claims she cannot have a racist label and “an ally label.”
The housewives filmed their Season 4 reunion on December 5, 2019, where Locken had “so many things to clear up.” While there isn’t “a number one” on her agenda, she said “the label” is the bullseye, and the “outer layers” include the comments about her negativity. According to Locken, she has “a lot of good points to make and can’t wait to make them.”
