‘RHONJ’ Reunion Drama: Security Needed Because ‘Teresa Is an Animal,’ Kim D Alleges
Rumors about security being needed on The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion set are warranted, Kim “D” DePaola alleges, sharing that Teresa Giudice is the main reason.
Executive producer Andy Cohen has not confirmed security is needed during the reunion, but DePaola understands why other RHONJ cast members are concerned. She also knows if the reunion becomes a gossip session about Giudice’s fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas, the set could become an explosive situation.
Kim D. calls RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice an ‘animal’ – so security is needed
DePaola said Giudice can get out of control. “Teresa is an animal,” she said on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. “She cannot control herself.”
She recalled when Giudice wanted to throw her drink at her during a fashion show. “If I were to have let her, she would have thrown the glass,” she added. “No one’s going to throw a glass at me. Kim D is not going to tolerate this behavior.” Adding, “She kept jumping up off the couch. I’m like, listen, you sit your a** back down on that couch. You get up one more time, you’re going back where you belong. She gets out of her mind.”
Teresa Giudice threw Andy Cohen ‘like a ragdoll’
DePaola recalled how Giudice aggressively pushed Cohen during the RHONJ Season 2 reunion as evidence they need security. “Look at the way she threw Andy like a ragdoll, trying to get at Danielle [Staub],” she recounted. “She’s not right. People who do that are not right.”
“So they need security because you never know what’s going to happen,” she pointed out. “You just don’t because she’s a live wire. You saw the way she gets so heated. Any little thing, she freaks it out.”
DePaola believes the entire cast would want to have security. “I’m sure they will say, listen, I am not going to be on stage with this,” she said. “They’re not violent. She is violent. And she could snap at any time. And it’s not fair to these girls to have to worry about violence. Violence is unacceptable and in any way, shape, and look what’s going on in the world. I mean, and then this girl wants to get violent. She goes in people’s faces. She storms them. No, no. Unacceptable.”
‘RHONJ’ cast members worried about their jobs?
Beyond the physical concerns, other cast members worry about going against Giudice because it could impact their job. “Dolores [Catania] is probably afraid for her job,” DePaola said. “Cause when you really go against Teresa, look what happened to Jacqueline [Laurita]?” She also listed other cast members like Giudice’s cousin Kathy Wakile who is no longer on the show.
“There’s a fine line with Teresa,” she observed. “Margaret’s [Josephs] holding up the show because she’s the only one that got balls enough to go with Teresa and say, listen, we hear what you’re saying. And we did say it to your face. You just act like an animal. She basically told her last night we did say it to your face, but you stomped your feet like a little girl. So I give kudos to Margaret man.”
But beware if the conversation turns to Ruelas – which it will. “So but God forbid you talk about Luis,” she added, which is another reason why security is needed. “[But] too f****ing bad. Who are you Teresa Giudice to say somebody can’t talk about some guy you’re seeing for one year, and you know nothing about him?”
