‘RHONY’: Did Ramona Singer Just Confirm Jill Zarin’s Return To ‘Housewives of New York City’?
Ramona Singer is the last OG of The Real Housewives of New York City that has been on all seasons of the Bravo show. With the exit of Bethenny Frankel ahead of the start of production of Season 12, there have been rumors that Jill Zarin would be back and Singer might have just hinted that the speculations are true.
Does Jill Zarin want to return to ‘RHONY’?
Zarin was one of the original castmembers lasting through four seasons before dropping out. During the last three seasons, the former Housewives star has made guest appearances, most notably during Season 10 when she patched things up with frenemy Frankel.
There’s no denying that if given the opportunity, Zarin would return to RHONY and has even pondered making a comeback.
“I don’t want to ruin the relationship with Gary [her boyfriend]. You know how TV can ruin relationships so probably not the best idea,” she recently told Life & Style as the reason why she wouldn’t want to expose her love life to the television cameras.
Zarin also added: “The show did such amazing things for me. You know, I’d like to go back in some ways but in some ways, you know, it’s a scary proposition because Gary is dangerous and you know he’s gonna get me in trouble. Friend role is great, friend role is the best because I never did it for the money, it was never about money for me so yeah, it was more to have fun and I think that it would be fun but you know if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.”
Ramona Singer hints at Jill Zarin’s return
Singer loves to stir the pot and she recently shared a picture on Instagram that hinted that Zarin is back on the Bravo show. The prosecco queen tagged herself and Zarin at The Hamptons but didn’t caption the publication with more insight into their meeting.
Jill Zarin hints at ‘RHONY’ return
After Frankel’s exit from the show, Zarin has been the name that has been thrown out there more consistently. She recently told People that “nothing’s changed” about her plans to hold an apple for the show’s intro.
“All I can say is they’ve started filming and I’m here,” she told the publication. “I’m at the tennis event today. Watch and see what happens, as Andy Cohen says.”
Bethenny Frankel quit ‘RHONY’
All the official Season 11 RHONY ladies were expected to return for Season 12, but everything was turned upside down when Frankel announced she was quitting the show that made her a household name.
“I have decided to leave the ‘Housewives’ franchise to explore my next chapter,” Frankel said in a statement via Variety. “It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have.”
The entrepreneur did not let it slip by in recognizing that the Bravo gave her an incredible platform where she has been able to inspire and empower other women.
“My experience at Bravo has been an incredibly magical ride. I am so grateful to them for highlighting my entrepreneurialism and allowing me to pave the way for many women to achieve their goals. I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come,” she ended her statement.
Is a househusband joining ‘RHONY’?
There is talk that a man could join the Housewives mix making it the first franchise to open up the cast to males.
“At the moment, nothing is off the table,” an insider told podcast Straight Shuter. “Producers are always looking to tinker with the formula to make sure the show doesn’t get stale.”
