‘RHONY’: Tinsley Mortimer’s Renewed Relationship May Not Mean She Quit the Show
Kluth is firmly grounded in Chicago, Illinois. One reason why the couple broke up is that Mortimer wasn’t ready to relocate. During last season, Mortimer spent a good amount of time crying over her lost relationship, but her castmates tried to convince her it was for the best.
But now that the couple has reunited, does that mean she’s finished with the show? Some reports insist she’s stopped filming and will be leaving. However, new reports point to Mortimer simply spending time in Chicago and that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s leaving the show.
She skipped filming Thursday night
The rumor mill churned when Mortimer missed filming on Halloween, according to Page Six. Mortimer was in Chicago with Kluth and other cast members took her absence as a sign that she was quitting the show.
Kluth was in Manhattan earlier in the month and attended the Big Apple Circus with Mortimer. Last year cameras captured Mortimer participating in the circus. But later she sobbed to her mother about how lonely she was and mourned her broken relationship with Kluth.
This year she appeared to be much happier and had Kluth by her side. Page Six also shared that insider sources revealed that Kluth has an engagement ring for Mortimer, which would likely solidify her move to Chicago.
Mortimer is still filming and hasn’t quit
Hours after Page Six released the story about Mortimer’s departure, Radar Online shared the headline, “Tinsley Mortimer Not Quitting ‘RHONY’ Amid Reunion With Ex: ‘She Is Still Filming'” Radar Online has sources close to Mortimer who insist she’s still filming the show.
“So she missed one event,” one source pointed out to Radar. “She will be filming the show next week!” Another person backed up the assertion. “She is still filming. Any rumors of her quitting is everyone just speculating and the cast gossiping.”
Mortimer went public with her renewed relationship with Kluth on Instagram in October. “Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true” ☺️🌈 #chicago 📸by Scott❤️”
Carole Radziwill claimed no one wanted to film with Mortimer
Mortimer has seemed to struggle to find cohesiveness with the cast. While she doesn’t seem to have specific drama with anyone, she’s younger and doesn’t appear to really vibe with the rest of the cast. When she sobbed over the loss of her beloved dog, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer seemed to be more annoyed with how much she was crying.
After her departure from the show, Carole Radziwill told Jenny McCarthy from The Jenny McCarthy Show on SiriusXM, Mortimer was often left out.”We were on the show together, no one wanted to film with her that much,” Radziwill said. “I fixed her up with a guy I knew so it seemed like an easy way to do scenes together.” Part of Radziwill’s storyline during her last season was her fractured friendship with Bethenny Frankel. Frankel asserted that Radziwill’s new friendship with Mortimer was strange.
