‘RHOP’ Monique Samuels Allegedly Wants to Quit Show After Candiace Dillard Fight
Monique Samuels has been a cast member on Real Housewives of Potomac since the second season. During her time on the show, she had a sister-like relationship with Candiace Dillard until Season 4 when Samuels’ friendship with Ashley Darby seemed to get in the way.
Even though they both expressed an interest in making up during the reunion, it didn’t last long as they got into a physical fight during Season 5. According to AllAboutTheTea, Samuels now wants off the show because it “isn’t worth it to her anymore” and “she has too much to lose.”

On October 16th, while the women filmed at a winery for Season 5, RHOP stars Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard got into an argument, which resulted in a massive blowout.
According to sources, the pageant princess started the fight when she threw a glass at Samuels’ face. The mother-of-three allegedly responded by grabbing Dillard’s hair and slamming her face on the table.
Even though the police did show up to the scene, they did not arrest anyone. However, a month later, Dillard filed a complaint, and a judge charged Samuels’ with second-degree assault.

The pageant princess decided to file charges because her lawyer claims Samuels “viciously attacked” Dillard, and she no longer wants to film with the mother-of-three. The judge found probable cause and summoned Samuels to court on December 23rd.
If the football wife is found guilty, she would be arrested immediately and could spend Christmas in jail. Samuels’ legal team quickly filed a counter on Dillard, also accusing the pageant princess of second-degree assault.
However, both sides are confident that the truth will be revealed once Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 airs.

After both ladies pressed charges on each other, Dillard then took to her Instagram to accuse Samuels of blocking her bookings. The pageant princess was set to sing the National Anthem at a basketball game but claims the mother-of-three convinced someone to remove Dillard from the program.
Samuels responded to the accusations on her Instagram and denied she ever meddled with Dillard’s bookings. Some of the other housewives, including Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon, allegedly refuse to film with Samuels while Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, and newcomer Wendy Osefo are seemingly not choosing sides.
According to AllAboutTheTea, the ladies are currently filming their cast trip in Portugal, but Samuels opted out of the vacation. Sources claim Samuels “doesn’t trust” the other housewives and is only focused on her family and businesses. Therefore, Samuels allegedly wants off the show.

According to sources, the mother-of-three “wants to quit and be off the show” because it isn’t worth it to her anymore. As a mom, wife, and owner of a few successful businesses, Samuels has “too much to lose.”
Also, the source claims the mother-of-three thinks the ladies are going “too far” in an attempt to “push her buttons.” However, the production company for Real Housewives of Potomac and Bravo allegedly don’t want her to leave because she’ wealthy, lives in Potomac, happily married, and seems to be a great mother. Additionally, they like her storyline on the show.
