Rihanna and Donald Glover’s New Movie ‘Guava Island’ Premieres THIS Weekend
Rihanna and Donald Glover are both massive forces in the entertainment industry. Along with her incredible music –Rihanna also has her wildly successful beauty brand, Fenty Beauty and her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty. That hasn’t stopped the Bajan stunner from also dipping her toe into movies. She’s appeared in everything from the adorable animated film Home to the heist comedy, Ocean’s 8.
If there is one person in Hollywood who can match the Anti singer’s grind –it’s Atlanta creator, Donald Glover. Known for his music persona Childish Gambino, the cult class Community, and his turn as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story —there’s nothing Rihanna or Glover can’t do. The film also stars Black Panther breakout star, Letitia Wright. Vanity Fair was able to scour up some more details about Guava Island. They reported,

Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke decided to plunk down a hefty chunk of the e-tailer’s change to distribute the film based on her watching a four-and-a-half minute sizzle reel via a one-time viewing link that expired 30 minutes after she received it.
