Rob Kardashian Is Losing a Bunch of Weight Due to a Surprisingly Simple Diet

Rob Kardashian is back! The reality star retreated from the spotlight in recent years amid battles with weight gain and depression. But in October, he re-emerged — with a noticeably slimmer figure.

Fans have been clamoring to know exactly what he’s doing to shed his weight, and they’ll be shocked to learn how simple Rob Kardashian’s diet truly is.

Rob Kardashian has really slimmed down

Kardashian started struggling with weight issues following his 2012 split from Rita Ora. Though the singer has repeatedly denied the relationship, Kardashian maintains they were an item and that she cheated on him with “more than 20 dudes.”

After the breakup, Kardashian reportedly turned to junk food to cope. As his weight swelled, his self-esteem tanked. He later quit his family’s show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and skipped Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 2014 wedding in fear of being photographed.

“I was doing my suit fittings in Paris right before the wedding and I just wasn’t comfortable,” he confessed to People in August of 2016. “I’m 6’1″ and at my most, I probably weighed 300 lbs.”

He added: “There were cameras at the airport on our trip there and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. I’m upset I missed my sister’s wedding but it was a personal decision.”

Kardashian became a total recluse. And though he did try to lose weight, it was hard to stay motivated.

In June 2019, however, Khloé Kardashian told Entertainment Tonight that her brother had been back in the gym and “kicking a**,” often working out with Kim.

Kardashian did not directly comment on his weight loss journey. But he showed off his slimmer, more toned figure at Kim’s birthday dinner on Oct. 21.

How is Rob Kardashian losing weight?

According to reports, Kardashian is doing multiple things to shed his weight. Sources say that he has a workout routine and follows an easy, peasy diet. But that’s not to say that he’s made a complete 180. Like everyone, there are reportedly still times when he slips up.

“Rob has a trainer, but he’ll be the first one to tell you that he doesn’t always commit,” a source told Life & Style on Oct. 24. “He still struggles, but food is where he’s been making some great strides. He still loves In-N-Out Double-Double burgers and fries, but he’s really cut back. He’s all about salads and fruits, fish and chicken, walking on the treadmill.”

The insider also shared that “running after his daughter Dream is the easiest and most fulfilling workout.” Kardashian shares Dream with his ex-fiancée, Blac Chyna.

“Rob’s main priority has always been his daughter, Dream, and that’s the main reason he’s back in the gym,” an insider previously explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Rob has struggled with staying healthy, but since Dream was born, he’s realized how much more important it is for him to get back into the gym and eating healthy.”
