Lacey Sculls’ VH1-inspired streaming platform Storm TV

As a fan of reality TV, Sculls felt something was missing. So did fans of VH1’s Of Love shows.

“I’ve been listening to what the Of Love fans have been saying online for a long time now,” Sculls tells us. “They’re like, ‘I wish VH1 would bring back these Of Love shows’ or ‘I wish somebody would bring back the Of Love shows.'”

When Sculls discovered Zeus, a streaming service offering shows like One Mo’ Chance and Baddies ATL, she thought, “I can do this, too.” Tapping into her connections, Sculls gathered VH1 talent to create her own content for her streaming platform, Storm TV.

Sculls announced the platform on Aug. 31. Storm TV launched on Oct. 1 with an epic reunion special and is available in countries everywhere with subscriptions starting at $4.99 a month.

‘Rock of Love With Bret Michaels’ cast reunite with ‘Flavor of Love,’ ‘I Love New York’ and more

Sculls worked with three producers from Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, and Charm School to reunite the fan-favorites in one epic reunion special. Cast members from I Love New York and Daisy of Love also make an appearance in the special, which is available with a subscription to Storm TV.

Lacey Sculls’ plans for the future of Storm TV include more VH1-inspired content

During our call with Sculls, she revealed details about the types of content fans should expect to see in the future on Storm TV. “One of the shows I want to do is with Ashely [Klarich] and Farrah [Shelton] from Rock of Love Bus,” Sculls teases. “They’re still hilarious.”

Sculls shared a photo of herself with the VH1 stars on Sept. 19 after a weekend in Las Vegas together. “Had such a fun weekend with my favorite husband and my favorite b******!” the caption reads. This mini-reunion was to film the exclusive content subscribers will have access to when they sign up for the streaming service. In the future, Sculls also plans to do more dating shows featuring fan-favorites from VH1 for Storm TV.

‘Talk of Love’ podcast to continue on Storm TV

For those listeners wondering if Sculls has plans to continue with the Talk of Love podcast — she does. “I haven’t uploaded any episodes for a couple of months now just because I’ve been working really hard on the reunion show and the streaming service simultaneously,” Sculls tells Showbiz.
