Royal Expert Claims Kate Middleton Definitely Wants Four Children

There has been a lot of talk about Kate Middleton having her fourth child with Prince William, and royal experts now believe there might be some truth to all the rumors. Kate has not said anything about expanding the family, yet one expert believes the Duchess of Cambridge definitely wants a fourth child. If the report is correct, she could announce her next pregnancy in early 2020.

Does Kate Middleton want a fourth child?

Kate and William tied the knot back in 2011 and have had three children over the past eight years of their marriage. Kate has waited a good two to three years between each of her pregnancies, and royal watchers are convinced the timing is just right for her to have another child.

The pregnancy speculation has increased as we head into the holiday season, and fans are on the hunt for signs that prove Kate is looking to expand the family.

According to Express, royal expert Angela Mollard recently added fuel to the pregnancy talk by claiming that Kate definitely wants a fourth child. Mollard did not offer any evidence to back up her argument, but she does believe Kate will be the next member of the royal family who has a baby.

“I’m thinking Kate Middleton first, I really am,” Mollard shared. “I think she wants the four. I think Kate definitely.”

To be fair, oddsmakers in the U.K. believe that Princess Eugenie is most likely to announce a pregnancy in the near future. She is, however, followed closely by Kate and her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.

Will the Duchess of Cambridge announce a pregnancy soon?

Mollard is not the only royal expert who believes Kate is going to have another baby. Katharine Graves, who wrote the book, The Hypnobirthing Book, recently pointed out that the timing is perfect for Kate to have baby number four.

After giving birth to Prince George in 2013, Kate waited two years before she welcomed her second child, Princess Charlotte. She waited a little longer before having Prince Louis in 2018, but his birth was still within the two-year range.

“On that basis, we could expect a fourth little Cambridge to be on the way fairly soon,” Graves added.

For a quick reference, the World Health Organization (WHO) advises women to wait anywhere between 18 and 24 months before having another child. Kate Middleton delivered Prince Louis in April of last year, so if she announced a pregnancy in 2020, that would hit the two-year mark.

Kate, of course, has not said anything about the pregnancy rumors, but a recent clue has some fans convinced she is already expecting.

Kate Middleton skips Prince William’s Middle East trip

When William flew to the Middle East last week to visit Oman and Kuwait, Kate opted to stay home. While Kate entertained guests from NATO at Buckingham Palace, fans are convinced there was another reason she did not travel with William.

There is currently a health warning in Oman for a malaria outbreak. The disease can be worse for pregnant women, which is why the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has warned pregnant women to be extra vigilant while in Oman.

“Although the risk of malaria is low in Oman, you should avoid mosquito bites to prevent malaria,” the CDC’s website reads.

Royal watchers, of course, believe this is why Kate Middleton did not go with William to Oman. If she is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, it is unlikely that the royal family would risk her health.

Kate has not commented on the rumors surrounding William’s trip. The Duke of Cambridge was away from the country for four days before returning to London.

William and Kate prepare for the holidays

While fans wait eagerly for a pregnancy announcement, William and Kate are currently getting ready to spend Christmas with Queen Elizabeth at Sandringham.

The couple is fully expected to make an appearance on Christmas Day with the rest of the royals, which should give fans an opportunity to see their family in action.

If Kate is pregnant with her fourth child, she will likely wait to make the announcement until after the holidays are over. Until then, we cannot say for sure if she is looking to have another baby in the house.

Although Prince William and Kate Middleton are looking forward to having a break at Sandringham, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending the festivities. The two are spending Christmas with her mother, Doria Ragland, in California this year.
