Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Need to Be Separated From the Rest of the Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stirred up a lot of drama within the royal family in recent weeks. It all started when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up about their struggles in a shocking documentary titled Harry and Meghan: An African Journey. The interview sparked rumors regarding their future in the royal family, and there is one royal expert who believes they should be separated from the rest of the royal family for good.

Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leave the royal family?

The drama heated up after Harry and Meghan opened up about their recent struggles in the controversial documentary. Meghan admitted that it has been difficult adjusting to the constant attention, while Prince Harry all but confirmed the rumors that he is feuding with his older brother, Prince William.

The Sussexes made things worse when they decided to skip spending Christmas with Queen Elizabeth at Sandringham next month.

According to Express, Dickie Arbiter, who used to be the press secretary, believes that Harry and the Duchess of Sussex should leave the royal life behind them. Arbiter pointed out how everyone else in the royal family — with the exception of Prince Andrew — is doing just fine in the media.

But Harry and Markle seem to be struggling the most with the press, and the obvious solution, as far as Arbiter is concerned, is to separate themselves from the family and live completely different lives.

“But what you’ve got is Prince Harry at the end of a South Africa tour within 24 hours of it being a triumphant tour then ranting on about the British media,” Arbiter shared. “It took the story away from the good work that was done in southern Africa to him, Meghan and their relationship with the media.”

How does the royal family feel about the exit rumors?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to travel to California to see her mother, Doria Ragland, later this month. They are expected to stay overseas for six weeks, celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas in the states with Meghan’s family.

With the couple scheduled to take a break from their royal duties, some experts believe the royal family is headed for a PR nightmare.

One such expert, Angela Mollard, believes that the royals will release a statement between now and Christmas to help mitigate the situation.

There is no telling what the royals might say, but it could be something that explains exactly why Prince Harry and Meghan couldn’t make it to Christmas at Sandringham.

“You know what? If we do not see them together at Christmas there is all hell breaking loose with that family,” Mollard explained. “I think we’ll see them in some kind of PR setup between now and Christmas.”

Will Prince Harry and Meghan Meghan make a royal exit?

In the recent documentary, Prince Harry mentioned how he and Prince William are officially on different paths.  He also noted that they have experienced some rough patches over the past two years, alluding to the feud rumors that have surfaced.

The comments have led to some serious speculation about Prince Harry and Markle’s future in the family, and their upcoming trip to California has not quelled that discussion.

It should be noted that these reports are nothing new. Last month, the pair fought rumors that they were moving to South Africa following their 10-day tour of the region.

Some royal watchers are convinced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking a trip to California to explore some potential landing spots for their new base of operation. This includes scouting locations for a future home for their family.

If they did move to Los Angeles, they would closer to Meghan’s family and still have plenty of opportunities to do charitable work. Such a move, of course, would require the pair to leave the royal family and would be a major undertaking for all the parties involved.

Queen Elizabeth responds to the Christmas snub

While many royal watchers thought Prince Harry and Markle were giving Queen Elizabeth the cold shoulder by rejecting her invitation to spend Christmas at Sandringham, that does not appear to be the case.

Buckingham Palace just released a statement confirming that the Sussexes will be spending the holidays with Meghan’s mother in Los Angeles.

Despite all of the rumors, Queen Elizabeth insists that she fully supports their decision to spend Christmas with Meghan’s side of the family this year. After all, they are not the only members of the royal family who have alternated the holidays.

“This decision is in line with the precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen,” the statement read.

That said, the rumors surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future will likely only heat up as the couple spends time away from England. Here’s to hoping they stay in the royal family, though if leaving makes them happier than they might seriously consider it.
