Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry’s Comments During Prank Phone Call Hint at ‘Inner Turmoil’

Prince Harry might have revealed some “inner turmoil” during a recently leaked prank phone call he fell for, according to presenter Piers Morgan. Morgan, who is often overly critical of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, slammed Prince Harry for his commentary about their exit, believing that it hinted at something more upsetting.

Prince Harry was the victim of a phone hoax

Prince Harry was a victim of prank phone calls from two Russian men, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who pretended to be Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and her father, according to The Sun.

During the calls, Prince Harry opened up about the reason behind his and Meghan’s decision to exit the royal family. “I can assure you, marrying a prince or princess is not all it’s made out to be,” Prince Harry said. “But sometimes the right decision isn’t always the easy one, and this decision certainly wasn’t the easy one but it was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son.”

He added, “And I think there’s a hell of a lot of people around the world that can identify and respect us for putting our family first. But, yeah, it’s a tricky one, but we will start a new life.”

Prince Harry shared his thoughts on having a normal life

One of the pranksters pretending to be Greta’s dad asked Harry his thoughts on normal life versus royal life. “Oh no, I think it’s much better,” Harry said of living a more normal existence.

He continued, “You forget, I was in the military for ten years so I’m more normal than my family would like to believe. But certainly being in a different position now gives us the ability to say things and do things that we might not have been able to do.”

Prince Harry said that he and Meghan hope to have the ability to “make more of a difference without being criticized” now that they’re out of the spotlight.

He spoke about the media’s criticism

Prince Harry had plenty to say about how the media have been so cruel to them, with Mail Online printing more of his conversation.

Harry remarked that he’s been “part of a family and part of a country that is scared of the tabloid media because they have so much power and influence and no morals.”

He added, “From the moment that I found a wife that was strong enough to be able to stand up for what we believe in together, [that] has basically scared them so much that they’ve now come out incredibly angry, they’ve come out fighting, and all they will try and do now is try and destroy our reputation and try and, you know, sink us.”

“It hasn’t been very nice. It’s been horrible, but we will come out of it stronger people,” he said.

Morgan thinks Prince Harry’s comments are revealing

On Good Morning Britain, Morgan discussed the comments Prince Harry made during the call and says he’s whining. “This confirmed everything I’ve been fearing about where Harry’s going,” Morgan noted. “It’s one, long whine.”

Morgan continued, “He seems very unhappy about almost everything, it’s very defensive, it’s very aggressive about the media… it’s very woke, in that it’s all about ‘I’m here to save the world with my wife.’”

He continued, “There’s something going on. There’s an inner turmoil with Harry which comes through in this hoax call.”

Overall, Morgan didn’t fault Prince Harry for getting tricked into thinking the call was legit, but shared, “But it reveals a kind of mindset about Harry which I just feel is sad.”
