The queens head back to the Werk Room after a tense elimination

We’re down to the top 5 All-Stars, almost down to the Top 4. The queens congratulate Shea on a well-deserved win, but Alexis is obviously a little shook. She says she’s embarrassed by the whole situation. India was Alexis’ friend, she explains, and it hurts that in such a moment of desperation she would throw Alexis under the bus.

Shea says the thought of Alexis campaigning against her did upset her, but not enough to send Alexis home. The queens open the box to ruveal four votes for India and only one for Alexis. Miss Mateo lives to slay another day. After the title sequence plays, the queens read India’s message, which was basically that, “the truth shall set you free.”

Unfortunately, they still don’t know who was telling the truth. They notice Cracker is a little quiet in the corner and she says that she just noticed this week they’re voting for the Top 4. No more mistakes! RuPaul shares what the challenge is this week.

He and his sisters are throwing a backyard party and the queens are all invited. To do the challenge, though, they’ll need to serve two looks: one of which is a cousin-inspired persona, while the other is a high-fashion extravaganza made from scratch. The twist? They’ll be using items found in their own backyards.

This week, the maxi-challenge is ‘The Charles Family Backyard Ball’

The queens carry their findings back to the Werk Room. Jujubee is a little nervous because she can’t sew well, but Shea Couleé shares that she went to school for theater costume design, so she’s ready. In fact, a lot of the queens are excited, including Blair St. Clair.

The queen who’s helping out the most, though, is Shea Couleé, who gives Jujubee some tips about her fabric and Miz Cracker some help with the sewing machine. Just then, Blair notices a note and a gift from India.

Shea got a note that says, “I got you.” Jujubee wants a note and searches for hers but just ends up reading the note for Alexis. It said, “I still love you.” Alexis doesn’t know about that, though.

During the walkthrough with RuPaul, Shea shares that right before she was on season 9, her father passed away from cancer. About a month later, her sister also passed so it was really difficult to envision her father at the finale cheering her on and then him not being there.

Jujubee shares that she broke up with her fiancé of 12 years and is now sober. Thanks to her meetings, she’s working on becoming a better person. RuPaul relapse to that and even shares a tear with Jujubee. Before the queens know it, it’s elimination day.

Shea explains that she still has a lot of work to do and Alexis keeps complimenting her. Shea’s still trying to figure her out but realizes that as long as she’s in the competition, she could potentially pick her lipstick. The queens head to the mainstage to showcase their cousin characters and custom couture.

On the runway, the queens put on their best backyard couture

RuPaul is joined on the mainstage by his actual family members. They’re there to see the cousin characters, of which Miz Cracker, Jujubee, and Shea Couleé get the most laughs. Then, each queen shows off their final look.

During the critiques, both Miz Cracker and Jujubee shout out Shea Couleé for her help. RuPaul decides that Miz Cracker is the winner of this week’s challenge. Cracker has a big decision to make. Back in the Werk Room, she says with report cards and judge’s critiques into play, it’s between Blair and Alexis for her. Blair is shocked.

If she wasn’t questioning her friendship with Cracker before, she is now. She was so proud of her garment. When Alexis is talking to Cracker, Blair pretty much says Alexis did the worst to the rest of the group. It’s time to pick the lipsticks and right away, Cracker picks Shea. “Could you imagine,” she says in the confessional, laughing.

She puts it back and makes her real decision. On the mainstage, the queens find out who the lipsync assassin is and it’s Roxxxy Andrews! Roxxxy wins the lipsync, in fact, and pulls the lipstick that the group chose. It was Alexis Mateo. Alexis sashays away.
