This new franchise has my whole-hearted blessing. Good luck and don’t puck it up!”
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is also available in Thailand
Drag Race Canada is not the first international version of the reality competition series. Another version of the show, entitled Drag Race Thailand, premiered in February 2018. The show created two seasons, each with about ten contestants competing for the title and the cash prize.
One of the contestants, Jaja commented on their experience on Drag Race Thailand. In an interview with Blue Bay, Jaja stated that overall, the competition was a good experience.
“Actually, it has exceeded of what I was expecting,” Jaja said. “I thought I will be going home in the third episode because of the language [barrier], but it became my strength. And I learned so many words!”
Former ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ contestant, Brooke Lynn Hytes, is from Canada
There’s good news for “Queen of the North” fans. The contestant might have been the first Candian Drag Queen in the RuPaul’s Drag Race family, but she won’t be the last. Although Brooke Lynn Hytes currently lives in the United States, she’s from Canada.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful country. 152 years of fur, maple syrup, and war that lasted two days. History class sure was boring for you, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love you, Canada,” the drag queen tweeted.
Production on Canada’s RuPaul’s Drag Race begins in fall 2019.
