Is ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ on Netflix? How to Stream Episodes Before the Season 12 Premiere

It’s almost time for a new set of drag queen contestants to step into the Werk Room. Is RuPaul’s Drag Race on Netflix? How can fans stream episodes of this Emmy-award winning series? Here are some places to binge-watch the series before season 12 premieres.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is not available for streaming on the United States version of Netflix

Gentlemen, start your engines. RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12 and All-Stars 5 are only a few months away. Fortunately, there are a few ways to catch up with your favorite queens before the new seasons’ premiere date. In some countries, older seasons are available for streaming on Netflix. However, RuPaul’s Drag Race is not currently on Netflix in the United States.

There was even a petition going around, asking the television series to be available for streaming in the United States. The petition reads, “Rupaul’s Drag Race supports LGBT+ people. Since Netflix is such a huge part of American lives, I think all seasons of this show should be put on Netflix.”

There are ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ related shows available for streaming on Netflix

Although these shows might be feature RuPaul or America’s Next Drag Superstar, there are a few drag-related television shows available for binge-watching on Netflix. One of the former contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alyssa Edwards, has her own reality series, entitled Dancing Queen. There, fans can see what Alyssa Edwards does as the founder of the Beyond Belief Dance Company in Texas.

There’s an “adults-only” cartoon, Super Drags, which features the voices of RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Ginger Minj, Trixie Mattel, Shangela, and others. However, the closest television series on Netflix similar to Drag Race is The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula. This is another reality competition series. The twist is that the performers compete in dark, creepy, and even gruesome challenges. Seasons 2 and 3 of this show are available on the streaming platform.

How can fans watch episodes of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’?

It’s not exactly RuPaul’s Drag Race, but some seasons of Untucked are available on WOWPresents YouTube Channel. The episodes of this spin-off series were published on YouTube, prior to RuPaul adding them after the actual episode airs on television. There are also YouTube series’ featuring the stars on this series, including Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova’s “UNHhhh.”

If you have a cable subscription, you can log in to VH1.com or the VH1 App to watch episodes of this series. Some seasons even appear periodically on live television, thanks to networks like VH1 and Logo. If you want to watch episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, the series is available for streaming on WowPresents Plus.

If you have Amazon Prime, some seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race periodically become available for streaming. Otherwise, fans can purchase complete seasons and individual episodes of the Emmy-award winning show and its spin-off series, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars on Amazon.
