Samantha Markle Continues Attack on Meghan Markle in TLC Special

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, never seems to run out of negative things to say about the Duchess of Sussex and with a new special about Prince Harry and Markle, it seems Samantha was given yet another opportunity to throw shade.

Is Meghan Markle jealous of Kate Middleton?

Since rumors of a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton never seem to fade, it was only logical that Samantha would weigh in with her take on why the duchesses don’t get along.

Samantha shared her thoughts in the TLC special Meghan & Harry: A Royal Baby Story, explaining: “I believe that there is a jealous streak in Meg. She does like to be the center of attention. I feel like that’s a part of what is happening now.”

Will Meghan Markle hire a nanny?

There’s been quite a bit of debate over whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have help once the baby comes and Samantha thinks they will probably hire staff, noting: “I think Meg will definitely get a nanny.”

She continued: “I’m pretty sure that her threshold for stress could be quite low in the beginning. How many rooms in Frogmore? I can see them all being filled with nannies… Meghan is very strong-minded, and there will definitely be a butting of heads, but Meghan could learn and grow from that. So if the nanny is strong enough, then she won’t be left in tears.”

Samantha goes on the attack

There was plenty to discuss when it came to whether or not Meghan should allow her father, Thomas Markle, to be a part of Baby Sussex’s life. Samantha didn’t hold back (no surprise), noting: “I certainly think it’s unfair to overshadow how integral dad [Thomas Markle] was in [Meghan’s] life.”

She continued, “It’s not that we were never there. We’ve gone to your dance recitals, holidays, Thanksgivings… Now all of a sudden we don’t exist. You can’t hurt people like this and then turn around and flip the script and play victim.”

Samantha added that she thinks it’s “important that children have a bigger sense of their family and where they come from. I would like to think that this child would have access to the best parts of grandad… and get to know that side of the Markles.”

During the special, Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, also remarked about the possibility that Thomas will be a part of Baby Sussex’s life, sharing “I can’t think for a moment that Thomas Markle will ever be able to meet his grandson or granddaughter.”

She did have a few nice things to say

Samantha wasn’t completely negative when it came to talking about Markle, including sharing her thoughts on the Duchess of Sussex’s birth plan.

Samantha surprisingly gave Meghan quite a of credit, remarking: “I think between her own natural endorphins and peace and meditation, and the medical staff standing by, I think she will do very well… Hopefully she will give birth in whatever comfortable, safe setting she feels best in.”
