Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield return for ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 4
Seeking Sister Wife Season 4 premieres Tuesday, June 6 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. The new season will have 14 episodes and follow five families, including the Merrifields, who fans first met on Seeking Sister Wife Season 3 (via TV Series Finale).
Last season, Dannielle and Garrick divorced so that they could bring potential sister wife Roberta from Brazil to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. But some viewers questioned Garrick’s motives. They suspected he was just trying to get out of his marriage to Dannielle so he could be with Roberta. They also worried that Dannielle didn’t seem completely on board with a polygamous lifestyle, especially after her emotional reaction to learning Garrick and Roberta had had sex while on vacation in Mexico.
Three new families join ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ cast
In addition to Dannielle and Garrick, season 3 couple Sidian and Tosha Jones will also return for Seeking Sister Wife Season 4. The pair is still looking for another woman to bring into their relationship. They’re currently long-distance dating a Filipina woman named Arielle.
New season 4 couples include Steve and Brenda Foley, who are trying polygamy again, this time with a much younger woman. There’s also the Davis family, which consists of April, Jennifer, and Nick. April and Jennifer are legally married to each other. However, each also considers Nick to be her husband, and they share his last name. They’re currently looking to add a third woman to their relationship. Finally, Marcus, Taryn, and India Epps are a plural family who will need to overcome some growing pains before adding another wife to the mix.
The Winder family reveals why they won’t be back for the new season of TLC show
One season 3 family that won’t be back for Seeking Sister Wife Season 4 is the Winders. The family addressed their exit from the series in an Instagram post. They explained that the show was moving in a different direction for the new season.
“As some of you have seen, we won’t be back for season 4 of Seeking Sister Wife,” they wrote. “It makes sense to us why we weren’t picked back up, as we’ve seen the show is taking a different path. We wish the other families well, and we’re grateful to TLC for the opportunity we had to tell our story, and we’ll continue to tell our story on our social media, faithfully, and honestly. Thank you to all that have followed and supported us, and to those who continue to!”
