Selena Gomez Looks like She’s Ready to Handle Business on the ‘Shark Tank’ Set
Selena Gomez is very busy but one thing she makes time for is watching Shark Tank. Luckily, her love of the show got out and she got a nice message from some of the sharks on her birthday.
Selena Gomez got a message from Mark Cuban for her birthday
The singer is a big fan of Shark Tank and her friends somehow got Mark Cuban to make a video for her. They made a video showing her reaction.
“Hey Selena it’s Mark Cuban from Shark Tank. I just wanted to say happy 27th birthday,” said Cuban. “Enjoy. Hope you have many, many more. Thank you for watching.”
Gomez loved it and said, “That was so cool!” The present came with a visit to the set in the future. She responded to this news with, “No! We are? Oh my gosh, I’m so excited!”
Lori Greiner also tweeted at the star. She wrote, “Happy Birthday @selenagomez!! So glad to hear you’re a fan of the show! Looking forward to seeing you in September …we’ll have to make sure it’s a special day! #repost #sharktank.”
Connar Franklin shared a picture of her visit
The famous fan got to step on the Shark Tank set. Connar Franklin shared a picture of her sitting in one of the shark’s chairs with the caption, “Deep in the tank BEST DAY EVER.”
There are more pictures with Franklin, Gomez and Robert Herjavec. Another picture shows Gomez in a huddle with Kevin O’Leary and more.
There is also a video of Gomez and Franklin walking with Greiner down the recognizable hallway. The last picture shows the whole cast posing with them.
Will she be a guest shark?
This might lead some fans to wonder if she’ll be a guest shark. Celebrities have filled that role before with tennis star Maria Sharapova, reality star Bethenny Frankel, retired baseball star Derek Jeter, and more.
However, there hasn’t been any mention of her being a guest star on the show. That role wouldn’t be totally out of her comfort zone given she produces shows like 13 Reasons Why.
It was recently announced that she produced a docu-series called Living Undocumented. “I chose to produce this series, Living Undocumented, because over the past few years, the word immigrant has seemingly become a negative word,” Gomez said in a statement according to Yahoo.
“My hope is that the series can shed light on what it’s like to live in this country as an undocumented immigrant firsthand, from the courageous people who have chosen to share their stories.”
Gomez has also invested in a Los Angeles start-up called Postcard on the Run. The company creates apps that allow people to turn pictures on their phones into postcards.
It sounds like she would be a great fit. Shark Tank fans will have to wait and see if Gomez will appear on the show.
