‘Shark Tank’ Fans Can Rest Easy, There Will Be More Deals in the Near Future

The final episode of Shark Tank Season 10 airs on May 12, 2019, but fans can breathe a sigh of relief; the millionaire investors will be back to battle over more fledgling companies. Over the years fans have watched the sharks make and break entrepreneurs.  Bomba socks, Scrub Daddy and Squatty Potty all got their big break on the hit ABC show.

While several companies have succeeded wildly, thanks to the show, there have been more than a handful of dejected inventors and businessmen and women who left empty-handed. Season 11 is sure to offer fans more of the same, just with new exciting products.

When will the show return?

ABC has happily shared the good news that the show will be returning with fans, but they haven’t given an official premiere date. Thankfully, we can make an educated guess. According to Monsters and Critics, Shark Tank generally premiers in September or October. It has for the past several years, and there is no reason to change something that is working so well.

With the 10th season wrapping up on May 12th, it will be a mere four to five-month wait for more hilarious pitches and exciting products. Fans can also expect several months of new content once the show starts up again. Seasons generally include more than 20 episodes and around 100 business hopefuls for the sharks to tear apart.

Which sharks are back for Season 11?

It looks like all of the previous sharks are signed on for yet another season of deal-making. According to the official press release, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary will all be back for more investment opportunities.

ABC has yet to release any information regarding additional co-stars. In years past, guest sharks have sat in on individual episodes. Season 10 saw the return of former guests, Bethany Frankel, and Alex Rodriguez, as well as new faces like Charles Barkley and Jamie Siminoff. Season 11 is likely to offer more of the same, but what guests will grace the stage is being kept heavily under wraps.

How is the show cast?

According to the Beaumont Enterprise, a lot goes on behind the scenes of the hit reality TV show. A team of casting professionals traverses the country to find the right personalities for each episode. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurs line up for a chance to meet with a casting agent. They have 60 seconds to make their pitch.

A casting team is already busy finding potential investment deals for the next season of the show, slated to premiere during the 2019-2020 television season. A recent casting call at the Javitz Center in New York City drew more than 400 hopefuls. Having the right product and a solid business plan isn’t enough to get you on the show though; an interesting backstory is necessary for success, too. Remember, not all of the products chosen are winners. A couple of losers have to be thrown in to make the entire show enjoyable.
