Some ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Fans Noticed Katie Morton’s Not Wearing Her Engagement Ring From Chris Bukowski In This Photo

Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton didn’t exactly have a fairytale romance on this past season of Bachelor In Paradise. They started out as friends before eventually deciding to take their relationship to the next level. But once they did make the leap, they had some communication issues and constantly struggled with knowing where the other person stood.

By the time Fantasy Suites rolled around, Morton wasn’t sure if she could envision a long-term relationship with Bukowski, let alone a marriage. But Bukwoski must have been sure because during the finale he got down on one knee and proposed to Morton and she happily said ‘yes.’

Then, during the Bachelor In Paradise reunion, Morton walked on stage without her engagement ring, saying her relationship with Bukowski had been turbulent since the show wrapped. She explained to Chris Harrison that she had been putting a lot of effort into her engagement to Bukowski, but she felt she wasn’t getting anything in return. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to move forward or not.

When Bukowski was brought on stage it was clear that he felt blindsided. He promised, on stage, to be more communicative and active in their relationship but when the cameras followed him and Morton outside after their hot seat interview, it was clear he wasn’t happy with Morton and it was left a mystery whether the couple would stay together or not.

Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski are still together

In several interviews after the Bachelor In Paradise season finale and on their Instagrams it became clear that Morton and Bukowski were going to try and stay together.

As you’ve seen..It’s been the furthest from easy. From the decision to take the leap onto the beach, navigating what was real and staying true to myself, and my world that spun out afterward. None of it has been a walk in the park. BUT I’ve learned, a lot. I’ve learned to be more direct, how to challenge myself and others, I’ve learned that I’m empathetic to a fault, that love languages are so important to understanding others, that self sabotage can be found in many forms, and BOY have I learned what patience looks like. But most of all, I’ve learned that happiness isn’t something to look for in your partner. Your partner can make you laugh but your partner is not responsible for your happiness. Happiness is found within and sharing that with each other is what lights up a room! Communication is the link to everything, which is something we sure did LACK in paradise and shortly after. It took us a few months to really get our bearings (especially with some exceptional and unexpected challenges). I know none of you will truly understand why things are the way they are but I ask that you trust me and support me as I navigate this new world of mine. Because I’m happy with me and we are finally happy with us. We have grown so much in our friendship and now in our relationship since that day. Like I said to both of our parents and I will say to you- I can’t promise you this relationship will be perfect (it won’t be/ it isn’t) and I can’t promise we will last forever. Honestly, some relationships don’t last after 20 years and some do, that’s life. But what I can promise you is that I take this seriously, won’t lose myself, I will always try my best, I will always keep it real, and we will have each other’s backs. Thank you for following us through this journey of hope, faith, all of the next phases of life and more importantly – love ♥️ cheers to an effing INSANE adventure

The photo that suggests Katie Morton isn’t wearing her engagement ring from Chris Bukowski

On September 23, Bukwoski posted this photo to Instagram.

““Top Gun” moment with my partner in crime,” he titled the photo.

Bachelor In Paradise fans quickly took to the comments to point out that it looks like Morton isn’t wearing her engagement ring.

“Why’s her engagement ring not on in this picture? I’ve seen others without her ring. Are y’all not together anymore?” commented one BIP fan.

“no engagement ring? Am I missing something?” questioned another.

“Who’s still not wearing her engagement ring,” wrote another fan.

But one fan may have cracked the code:

“It’s the same outfit and helicopter from the Sept 10 photo, pre-finale. Hopefully that’s why no ring?”

So unless Morton’s repeating outfits and the pair’s been riding in their new fave helicopter service all the time, this photo was most likely taken pre-finale.

As far as we know, Bukowski and Morton are still very much together.
