‘Southern Charm’: Eliza Limehouse Dishes on How She Feels About Ashley Jacobs

Southern Charm’s favorite villainess, Ashley Jacobs, is back on the scene for Season 6, and she’s managed to pick fights instead of making apologies once again. Fans and cast members alike were shocked at her return — Eliza Limehouse and Cameran Eubanks had speculated in the past that Jacobs might try and make amends were she to return. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, and things got especially hairy between Jacobs and Whitney Sudler-Smith

Limehouse has been one of Jacobs’ few friends remaining on the cast up to her return. Now, Limehouse is ready to dish on how she really feels about Ashley Jacobs.

For fans of the show, it’s clear that Southern Charm’s Ashley Jacobs hasn’t made many friends among her peers. The star is infamous for telling Kathryn Dennis that she’s not a real mother, just an “egg donor.” She’s also managed to enter into a feud with Southern Charm’s grande dame, Patricia Altschul — a dangerous choice because Altschul and her barbed tongue don’t hold back.

Altschul claims Jacobs harassed one of her friends online. When asked why she dislikes Jacobs and Ravenel, Altschul took to Twitter to explain. “Why people ask? Because of his and Ashley’s smear campaign, character assassination, lies and purposeful defamation.”

She added more in another tweet. “And let’s add to that list an innocent friend of mine who was viciously cyberbullied by Ashley because of her obsessiveness and insecurity,” wrote Altschul.

Cameran Eubanks shared her feelings in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, explaining, “I was shocked when I saw Ashley. But then, I wasn’t. I was hoping that if she had any sense, she would go back to California, which is her home, which is where she’s from, where all her family and friends are. I cannot believe she stuck around.”

She has to have a heart

Eliza Limehouse, however, seems to have some sympathy for Ashley Jacobs. As one of her few friends and defenders on the show, she believes that Ashley Jacobs has a goodness inside her that can’t be denied — and that nothing shows this more clearly than her occupation. The Southern Charm star explained her feelings in a Southern Charm After Show episode.

“First off you have to keep in mind that I’m not siding with anybody,” explained Limehouse. She went on to say, “Everybody has a heart okay? Everybody’s a real person. The job that she does, like, she has to have a pretty big heart under there because she’s a hospice nurse. That is not an easy job. That is something that I could never do because I’d be depressed 24/7.”

Limehouse went on to say, “I tried to give her a chance to make amends and apologize because I was the only person that didn’t have issues with her.”

Unfortunately, Limehouse’s good intentions were scuttled by Jacobs herself during her reunion with the cast.

But, Ashley’s a little crazy

Limehouse does go on to say that the Southern Charm star might work an emotionally demanding job, but she is a little crazy after all.

Limehouse conceded, “Ashley’s a little crazy, and Ashley knows that though, like she owns her crazy.”

That being said, Limehouse thinks that things aren’t going to change any time soon. She went on to say, “There’s never really gonna be a good outcome with Ashley and this friend group making amends. I think that, um, there’s so many components, it’s hard to speak on, you know?”
