‘Southern Charm’: Landon Clements Reveals Her Encounter With Bethenny Frankel and Lisa Vanderpump
Clements bumped into Frankel at the Beverly Hills Hotel and said although she was nervous to meet her, Frankel was very nice and friendly. “[I] was like very nervous and I was like, ‘Hi, I’m I’m on Bravo too.’ And she was so cool and so nice,” she recalled on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.
“We chatted for a while and we actually chatted a little bit here and there, you know, she is now doing another show,” Clements said. She added that Frankel was familiar with Southern Charm. “She said ‘Oh that’s cute.’ You know, she is.”
Clements also met Lisa Vanderpump
She also dished about meeting Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd. Clements said she also had fangirl moment during her encounter with the couple. “I was at an open house in Montecito for a property and Lisa and Ken were there and I was like, ‘Hi. And I was like, this is so silly, but I’m on Southern Charm.’ And she was like, ‘No way I love Patricia.’ And it was like really cute that she, you know, sort of knew our show and we obviously knew hers.”
“And so it’s always fun to have a little cross over moment, but I was definitely not expecting to bump into her that day,” she says emphasizing that she felt like stuttering.
Clements says Vanderpump and Todd were looking at the property. She said she also asked for a photo with Vanderpump. “It’s on Instagram. You can see it,” she shared. “I mean that’s like two weeks ago, so it’s pretty recent. She had one of the pups with her. It was cute.”
Clements is still a Bravo fan
Even though she’s left Southern Charm Clements still watches some of her favorite shows. “I watch our show,” she said. “I like Below Deck is really fun. Obviously love all the Million Dollar Listing [shows]. But yeah, I definitely watch all of it. I watched it before I was on it. I mean, who does it?”
Below Deck and Southern Charm have crossed paths on more than one occasion. Most recently charter guests from Charleston, South Carolina appeared on Below Deck. Madison Simon was on Below Deck and fans would likely remember her from the store Gwynn’s, which used to employ Kathryn Dennis.
Patricia Altschul also mused about taking the cast on a Below Deck boat too. “I want to charter a yacht and take all of Southern Charm on it,” she said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “That’s what I want to do.” Captain Lee Rosbach and his wife also spent time with Altschul and some of the cast last summer too.
