Season 6 of Southern Charm has been just as active with the drama as fans could have hoped. While Thomas Ravenel looms over the season, adding his own flavor of off-screen drama to the entire ordeal with his ongoing custody battle against Kathryn Dennis, there are other couples going through difficult times. Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy have split among infidelity claims on both sides. Now, Kroll’s friends and castmates are trying to help him keep his head up. LeCroy, however, just revealed that one friend in particular once had his sights set on her.
LeCroy’s breakup with Austen Kroll
Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy and Austen Kroll ended their relationship after a cheating scandal caught on video. A woman on the scene took a video of Madison LeCroy seemingly catching Austen Kroll at home with two other women. There’s an empty wine bottle on the table as Kroll opens his bedroom door in his underwear.
The video consists largely of Kroll trying to insist that he didn’t do anything wrong and that LeCroy is acting “crazy.” Classic gaslighting behavior. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kroll said, “So, I guess what I can say is that was very early on [in our relationship]. [That was] Madison and I trying to figure out what we were. We both hadn’t done the, you know, ‘you’re my girlfriend, and you’re my boyfriend’ talk, right?”
In the video, LeCroy asks one of the women if she’d slept with Kroll that night. She replies no, and LeCroy shoots back with, “So then why are your panties lying by the bed?!”
Kroll’s friends push him to move on
After the breakup, Austen Kroll’s friends pushed him to move on faster than he seemed ready to. “I’m glad we have each other is what I’m cheersing to, because at the end of the day, we have each other,” said Craig Conover right after Kroll’s breakup.
Kroll fired back with, “I just had a f*cking conversation with the person that I thought really mattered in my life, so please have a little bit of compassion.” It seems as if Kroll isn’t ready to move on just yet.
Meanwhile, some fans have noticed that Shep Rose has been pushing for Kroll to move on faster than others, and some began to wonder what his beef might be with Madison LeCroy. This became especially apparent when LeCroy reveals that Rose called her names. “Shep called me a white trash hairstylist,” said LeCroy during a recent episode.
Patricia Altschul revealed that Shep Rose doesn’t have a great reputation for kindness. “At the girls’ dinner, there were three or four of the girls that said Shep made them cry. It’s unacceptable,” she said, during the After Show.
A spurned Shep Rose gets testy
When discussing Shep Rose’s behavior, Craig Conover suggests that the source of his anger is how Madison LeCroy treated her Southern Charm castmate and ex-boyfriend, Austen Kroll. Said Conover during the After Show, “He hates her because, two things…how she treated our friend and second of all, it started to affect our life.”
However, LeCroy herself seems to think there’s another reason Shep Rose might have gotten to angry with her. “I don’t know if he’s still bitter from me declining him when I was married and I wasn’t interested,” said Madison during her dinner with Patricia Altschul and the other Southern Charm women.
“Shep would hit on anything that stands upright,” said Cameran Eubanks during the After Show.
