‘Southern Charm’ Star Danni Baird Says Madison LeCroy Has Become a Different Person

Danni Baird and Madison LeCroy of Southern Charm fame seem to have been going through a rough patch. Things quickly became strained between the two cast members when LeCroy made some shocking claims about Shep Rose, Baird, and STDs. According to Baird, LeCroy targeted her comments with an ulterior motive.

Now, Baird is saying that LeCroy isn’t the person she once knew — that’s she’s become someone different.

Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy have never seemed to see eye-to-eye. These two often get into heated arguments — many believe it’s because Rose doesn’t support LeCroy’s relationship with Austen Kroll. During a Southern Charm trip to Colorado, Rose and LeCroy got into another one of their fights, but this time, Danni Baird was a casualty of war.

During the argument, LeCroy decided to drop a bomb. She told Rose, “You don’t f****** scare me. You’re a bully. You want to know facts? I heard you gave her chlamydia. That’s what I heard,” said LeCroy of Danni Baird. “That’s a fact … Ask Austen.”

Shep denied the claims, and LeCroy said, “Well if it’s not true, that’s fine.” Rose and Baird didn’t think it was fine at all, however.

Rose told LeCroy, “It’s not fine. I don’t understand you. What’s the anger come from?”

“And Austen told you? So now you’ve thrown him under the bus. You’re a tornado. You just hurt three people, or tried to. Was it worth it?” continued Rose.

Baird was frustrated that she got dragged into the conversation. “If you want to hurt him, that’s fine. But why the hell would you just do that to me? You truly don’t know what you’re talking about, and you are hurting people who shouldn’t be hurt. I’m on your team, so why the f*** are you acting like this?” she asked LeCroy.

Danni Baird thinks it was intentional

Fans and castmates alike were shocked by LeCroy dragging Baird through the mud. It’s typically in pretty poor taste to discuss someone else’s sex life without their consent, especially when that involves taking advantage of social stigma around venereal diseases.

According to Baird, LeCroy might have been out to get her. In an interview with The Daily Dish, Baird claims that LeCroy had made overtures at her boyfriend, Gentry, via Instagram. Baird told Craig Conover about the DMs, and Conover told Kroll, which means it eventually made it back to LeCroy. Baird believes this is why she’s under attack.

“I think she had harbored that, and I had no idea. I mean, I had actually done everything I could possibly do to kind of protect her in that situation as it was unraveling and not have it escalate into something bigger, but I also had no idea that I had literally given Craig Conover ammunition,” Baird told The Daily Dish.

“I didn’t know their relationship backstory, and quite honestly, I couldn’t have cared less,” she said. “The last thing I ever wanted was for her and Austen’s relationship to be exposed as unhealthy on my behalf.”

Baird claims LeCroy is a different person now

During a recent Southern Charm After Show, Baird revealed that she personally feels as if Madison LeCroy has become a different person in recent times.

Sitting down with Naomie Olindo, Baird said, “I mean it’s a different Madison than the Madison I knew. So obviously, something ain’t right.”

“That’s also somebody whose bad side I would not wanna be on, but I guess you’re on it,” added Naomie Olindo.

Baird also told The Daily Dish that she remains hurt by what LeCroy and Austen Kroll did. Baird said, “It’s gonna be hard for me to even look at either of them. I’m still very betrayed. I am very hurt. I feel as though I’ve seen their true colors, and no thanks.”

Baird went on to reveal that Kroll never apologized. She said, “Honestly, there’s nothing really an apology could do. Believe it or not, Austen has never apologized to me for his role in this. He has never even addressed it with me. Madison did apologize right after, but I was too upset at the time to even hear it. I mean, they could apologize, but honestly the best thing they could do is literally just change how they treat people. You can’t do this stuff to other people and not expect for karma to hit you like a freight train later.”

Since Season 6 of Southern Charm has finished filming, Baird has seen very little of either LeCroy or Kroll — perhaps their friendship is fizzling out in the aftermath of LeCroy’s behavior.
