‘Southern Charm’ Star Madison LeCroy Claims Danni Baird ‘Started a Bunch of S***’
The Southern Charm drama around the reunion episodes was enthralling, to say the least. Thanks to Madison LeCroy’s recent STD comments, she, Danni Baird, Shep Rose, and Austen Kroll were the four biggest focuses of the reunion.
Madison LeCroy and Austen Kroll were asked about their relationship — something which LeCroy has since cleared up a bit more. However, LeCroy also discussed what went down with Danni Baird. And in a twist that very few fans seemed to expect, LeCroy wound up blaming Baird for what went happened.
LeCroy’s STD comments
When the Southern Charm crew went on a group trip to Colorado, things got heated between Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy. Fans know Rose and LeCroy have been at each others’ throats for a long time.
This time, however, LeCroy took things a little too far. Seeing an opportunity to shame Rose, she took it. ““You don’t f****** scare me. You’re a bully. You want to know facts? I heard you gave her chlamydia. That’s what I heard,” said LeCroy about Danni Baird, who sat nearby.
Rose and Baird immediately protested. LeCroy replied, “Well if it’s not true, that’s fine.” Baird and Rose refused to stand down, however.
Rose said, “It’s not fine. I don’t understand you. What’s the anger come from? … And Austen told you? So now you’ve thrown him under the bus. You’re a tornado. You just hurt three people, or tried to. Was it worth it?”
Baird backed Rose up — sort of. She replied with, “If you want to hurt him, that’s fine. But why the hell would you just do that to me? You truly don’t know what you’re talking about, and you are hurting people who shouldn’t be hurt. I’m on your team, so why the f*** are you acting like this?”
LeCroy blames Baird
To the surprise of many fans, Madison LeCroy wound up blaming her Southern Charm co-star for what went down. During the reunion episode, LeCroy said to Danni Baird, “Now you know why I don’t like you, because you started a bunch of s***.”
Baird fired back at LeCroy, telling her, “I started nothing. You reached out to my boyfriend. I’m sorry.”
All of this follows on the revelation the LeCroy’s friend allegedly sent a somewhat incriminating text to Baird’s boyfriend, Gentry, essentially telling Gentry that LeCroy thought he was hot. Baird informed Craig Conover, who told Austen Kroll, which is how it reached LeCroy. It seems LeCroy is angry that Baird told Conover at all.
Chelsea Meissner pitched in on Baird’s side, telling LeCroy, “She was really trying to make it not a big deal. Because what she said to Craig did get blown out of proportion. And then you took your anger out on her.”
Baird later tells LeCroy, “I was trying to protect you…Ever since you guys have both taken out your anger out on me when all I did was try and mitigate it. You’re such a bully, it’s like you change everything around.”
Are the two still friends?
While it seems as if the two Southern Charm stars might not be actively fighting anymore, they do seem to have cooled down on one another.
Baird told the Daily Dish, “Austen had this aggressive animosity towards me that I had no idea existed; I just kept hearing it from other people. And so that’s why when the whole comment in Colorado came out, and she said she heard it from Austen, my mind was just spinning. I was like, ‘This was absolutely calculated.’”
Allegedly, Baird has barely seen LeCroy or Kroll since Southern Charm Season 6 wrapped. She added, “It’s gonna be hard for me to even look at either of them. I’m still very betrayed. I am very hurt. I feel as though I’ve seen their true colors, and no thanks.”
