‘Southern Charm’ Star Madison LeCroy Says She’d Need Shep Rose to Get High Before Hanging Out With Him Again
Southern Charm stars Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy have never been anything close to friends. It’s been clear for a long time that the two do not like each other much, and this often bleeds into their interactions on and off the show.
It seems as if Rose doesn’t approve of his friend Austen Kroll’s relationship with LeCroy, and this often means the two of them wind up fighting. However, during a recent Southern Charm After Show episode, LeCroy revealed that she and Shep Rose might be more similar than fans think — and that she would hang out with him, on one condition.
Rose and LeCroy fight over STD rumor
During Southern Charm Season 6, the crew went on a group trip to Colorado. Here, Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy seemed to be reuniting after their tumultuous infidelity scandals. Shep Rose was unhappy to see the two seemingly getting close again. He picked a fight with LeCroy over it, and things got heated.
Seeing an opportunity, LeCroy let a nasty rumor fly. “You don’t f****** scare me. You’re a bully … You want to know facts? I heard you gave her chlamydia. That’s what I heard,” said LeCroy of Danni Baird, who was seated nearby. “That’s a fact … Ask Austen.”
Both Baird and Rose denied LeCroy’s allegations, to which she replied, “Well if it’s not true, that’s fine.”
Rose wasn’t having it, however. ““It’s not fine. I don’t understand you. What’s the anger come from? … And Austen told you? So now you’ve thrown him under the bus. You’re a tornado. You just hurt three people, or tried to. Was it worth it?” asked Rose.
Baird said, “If you want to hurt him, that’s fine. But why the hell would you just do that to me? You truly don’t know what you’re talking about, and you are hurting people who shouldn’t be hurt. I’m on your team, so why the f*** are you acting like this?”
Are LeCroy and Rose similar?
During an episode of the Southern Charm After Show, LeCroy dished that she thinks she and Rose might be more similar than Rose would ever like to admit.
LeCroy told the camera, “I think Shep has a problem with me because he can’t figure it out, I think. He doesn’t know what I’m thinking — I think he’s pretty good about reading people.”
“I can see some similar things. I really don’t think it’s him liking me,” said LeCroy. “I think that Shep and I — he’s not gonna ever admit that but — I think that we are similar as far as, you know, ‘do no harm but take no s***’ personality.”
And, according to LeCroy, she’d hang out with Shep Rose — on one condition.
LeCroy would hang out with Rose
LeCroy went on to say that, surprisingly, she actually thought Rose was a funny guy. “You know, even though he’s a total d***, I actually think he’s funny,” said LeCroy.
LeCroy said that she’d hang with Rose if he’d consider eating a marijuana edible beforehand. “If he could eat a gummy and be around me, I’m down for that. I mean, I don’t want to say he’s gotta be high, but I definitely don’t want to hang out with Shep drunk. I get why Austen [Kroll] hangs out with him,” said LeCroy.
Apparently LeCroy found Rose pleasant enough to stomach being around when the Southern Charm group went out on an edibles-fueled feast in Colorado.
