‘Southern Charm’: This is Patricia Altschul’s Favorite Word For Describing Ashley Jacobs

Ashley Jacobs is back for Southern Charm Season 6, and it’s easy to see that not a single cast member is thrilled about it. Fans, on the other hand, might be a different story. Jacobs is sure to stir up drama, and it seems as if she’s already well on her way — one of the first things she does is butt heads with Whitney Sudler-Smith over her feud with Sudler-Smith’s mother, Patricia Altschul. Not off to a good start.

But Patricia Altschul is certainly not the type of person to lie down in a feud. To the contrary, Altschul has a favorite word when it comes to Ashley Jacobs. And it’s not nice.

It’s no reach to say that Ashley Jacobs didn’t win many friends among her Southern Charm castmates. Last we say her, she was dating Thomas Ravenel and defending his actions in court. Well, defending might not be the right word — Jacobs often went on the attack, infamously calling Kathryn Dennis nothing more than an “egg donor.” Now that she’s coming back, there are some confused cast members.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cameran Eubanks said, “I was shocked when I saw Ashley. But then, I wasn’t. I was hoping that if she had any sense, she would go back to California, which is her home, which is where she’s from, where all her family and friends are. I cannot believe she stuck around.”

Kathryn Dennis added, “”I think that nature takes its course with humans like her. I mean, she self-destructs and that’s what nature does. It’s hard to come up with words to talk about her because she doesn’t make sense herself.”

Austen Kroll says she hasn’t changed. “Without giving away too much, she kinda just acts the same way she did at the reunion, where her apologies all have a ‘but’ at the end of them,” said Kroll. “So, she’s not really giving you an apology, and her reason for being there was, ‘Hey guys, I just wanted you to know, I’m a changed person…’ but then, you see this fire in her eyes! And you’re like, you are the same friggin’ person! You don’t know how to apologize without doubling down.”

In a Bravo preview, we see Ashley Jacobs reunite with her castmates — and frankly, everyone looks shocked and dismayed. It’s not long before Jacobs gets into it with Whitney Sudler-Smith, Patricia Altschul’s son.

Sudler-Smith approaches her and says, “I know you talked some s— about my mother, which, unfairly so.” In another clip, he tells the camera, “Ashley insists upon besmirching my mother, her reputation, with some conspiracy theories. None are true.”

Jacobs fires back right away, telling Sudler-Smith, “Same for her, she’s almost 80. You’d think she’d know better.” That’s a seriously bold move coming from Jacobs, given that she’s surrounded by Altschul’s friends and family.

Patricia Altschul, grande dame of Southern Charm, has made her feelings regarding Jacobs clear on several occasions. The pair feuded after Jacobs continued to harass one of Altschul’s friends — fans believe it may have been Luzanne Otte, who Altschul introduced to Ravenel. The pair had a brief romance.

Altschul tweeted about why she can’t get behind Ashley Jacobs or Thomas Ravenel. “Why people ask? Because of his and Ashley’s smear campaign, character assassination, lies and purposeful defamation,” she tweeted.

She then added, “And let’s add to that list an innocent friend of mine who was viciously cyberbullied by Ashley because of her obsessiveness and insecurity,” tweeted Altschul.

Altschul told Entertainment Tonight that she has a new favorite word when it comes to Jacobs. “My new favorite word is ‘famewh*re,’” said the Southern Charm star. “I love to use it whenever possible, so… famewh*re! Famewh*re! Famewh*re! I think it’s hard to fall in love after five dates. Call me a skeptic, and the fact that she was so adamant about getting a ring, getting clothes, getting jewelry, getting Vuitton luggage, I mean, it seemed a little too obvious to just be love.”
