The Spider-Man: Far from Home teases a multiverse

The trailer for the upcoming movie dropped showing what life is like for Peter Parker after losing Tony Stark. He tries to enjoy vacation but is tracked down by Nick Fury.

Nick Fury reveals that the snap blew a hole through their dimension, and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) isn’t from their world. Peter is the only one who can help him. The multiverse reveal has a lot of fans excited for a potential appearance of Miles Morales.

Fans believe this could lead to Miles Morales

Miles Morales is an Afro-Latino teenager who became Spider-Man after Peter Parker’s death in Ultimate Fallout. He recently got his own featured animated film with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The timing of the animated movie and this reveal might be evidence that things are being set up for Peter and Miles’ paths to cross. Or fans will at least get to see Miles in a future movie.

Miles Morales could already be in Peter’s universe

One fan did point out that Miles Morales has already been set up in Peter’s universe. That’s because Donald Glover played Aaron Davis in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He tells Peter, “I don’t want those weapons in this neighborhood. I got a nephew who lives here.”

Aaron is otherwise known as “Prowler” and is a criminal. A spider once crawled into his bag when he was stealing from Osborn Industries and it bites Miles, turning him into Spider-Man.

So Peter Parker might not have to leave the universe at all to meet Miles. Or things could be leading to Peter’s demise and Miles will take over. This multiverse reveal doesn’t just tease a potential appearance of Miles.

Fans are also anticipating that the X-Men, Deadpool, Fantastic Four, and more possibly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Russo brothers previously talked about whether the Disney-Fox merger means X-Men and Deadpool will join the universe.

I’m sure of it,” Joe Russo said according to Deadline. “The acquisition of Fox is showing us where the future of the business is going to go.” He said that they still needed to go over a timeline with Disney CEO Bob Iger. “We haven’t talked to him about when he is going to do it.”

The possibilities of the future grew significantly. Chances are fans won’t know for a while if they’ll actually get to see Miles Morales, but they are hoping for it.
