‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Fan Reviews Are in and They’re Mostly Positive
It’s been a few months since the release date of Marvel’s blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame. Now, there’s a new addition to the story. Tom Holland as Spider-Man/Peter Parker appears in the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, entitled Spider-Man: Far From Home. What are fans saying about the new movie? Here are a few of the fan reviews, via Twitter.
‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ premiered in the United States on July 2, 2019
Peter Parker is back from saving the world in Avengers: Endgame. Now, he wants to hang up the suit and enjoy a summer vacation with his friends from school — but there’s something standing in the way.
Since its release on July 2, 2019, Spider-Man: Far From Home has been the topic of conversation for many Marvel fans. Some fans took the Twitter, expressing their love for the latest addition to Spider-Man’s story.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home straight-up rules. I can’t believe they made a Mysterio movie, and I can’t believe it’s this good,” said one Twitter user. “Such a raucously fun, hilarious, earnest Spidey story that puts you through the emotional wringer. Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Zendaya are perfect.”
“When you’ve been crying about Tony for the past two months and just when you finally start to feel okay, Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out! And your a devoted Marvel fan, so of course your gonna go see it,” said another Twitter user. “I’m not ready to lose him all over again! I just can’t!”
Fans on Twitter loved ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and mostly the after credits scenes
Although Avengers: Endgame didn’t have a post-credits scene, Spider-Man: Far From Home has a few big ones. Although the mid-credits and post-credits scenes don’t give away much, the ones included in this sequel hinted at a future Marvel movie. Fans took to Twitter to share their reactions.

“It’s 2019 and people still leave Marvel movies before the post-credit scenes,” said one Twitter user.
Some say Jake Gyllenhaal and Zendaya stole the show
Even though Tom Holland portrays Peter Parker in this movie, a few other actors stood out as fan favorites. That includes Zendaya, who formerly acted in The Greatest Showman and Disney Channel’s K.C. Undercover. Another character in this movie, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal, became a fan favorite.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home was just phenomenal. Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the main reasons it was so great, and he might be one of my favorite MCU villains yet,” said one Twitter user.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home is an emotional roller coaster, full of heartfelt character moments, unexpected twists, and amazing action sequences,” another Twitter user said. “The suit CGI and swinging is a huge step up from Homecoming. The standout is Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, who is second only to Thanos. We give it a 9/10.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home is now available in theaters.
